Clean and centrally located. A very small room; it’s perfectly fine if you only plan to sleep there. There is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your suitcase up 4 or 5 flights of stairs.

The check out time was 12 o clock the room cleaner came at 11:30 very irritated want us to leave and she didn’t understand English. It was a room with kid at 4th floor without lift and the room was a roof room so uncomfortable to sleep ur head under the roof. Everything

Near the St. Pauli neighbourhood, clean and easy to access to Cold Room even with the radiator on. The blanket was too short for me :)

Comfy beds and lovely doorman, great location and very cheap. The shower leaked and flooded the bathroom, there were 4 flights of stairs to climb and no warning of this when booking. We were on tour (work) and had lots of heavy musical equipment to get up and down late at night and early in the morning so neighbours did not appreciate the noise which is understandable but unavoidable. The ceiling was slanted and very low so quite impractical to stand up to use the mirrors, plus we banged our head in the morning. The walls are paper thin and we therefore could hear absolutely everything from the room next door. We only realised this after they banged quite violently on the dividing door to tell us to be quiet even though we were just speaking at a normal volume. We woke up to a very strong smell of cigarette smoke from the room next door which left all of our clothes smelling like an ashtray for days. Again, we were on tour and performing every night so not ideal for personal appearance and hygiene upkeep when performing.

It was central, clean, very basic. Although the room had everything in perfect working order, it was very small, nowhere to sit other than the beds.

Price is alright for what you get They charged a „Tourist Tax“ of 12 Euros when I checked in. They didn’t state any of that online before I booked the Hotel, it’s something that was brought to my attention only when I arrived. And it’s strange enough that they didn’t accept card nor gave me a receipt for it. The worker at the counter barely spoke German or English (I speak both fluent), it was hard to communicate with him and ask questions. The room was never cleaned during my 5-Days stay, and the bed had white stains on the red fabric from previous visitors.
