Pyjama Park Schanzenviertel - Hostel

Right in the center of everything, we had a wonderful stay in Pyjama. The staff was very kind and smiley, and the room was everything we expected it to be and more. Great value for money.

We had a lovely stay. The location is perfect, right in the heart of restaurants, bakeries, and little shops. The staff were lovely and the room was exactly what we booked. Our kitten was made to feel welcome and was very comfortable there. The park across the road was helpful in taking her for walks. For example, the TV remote didn't work and as soon as we let them know, they immediately came to replace the batteries and eventually got us a new remote - all within an hour. We had a six-bunk bedroom, and the beds were comfortable. The additional blackout curtain on the beds was helpful in blocking out the morning light. The shared bathrooms were nice and cleaned daily. My only suggestion would be to have a kettle for morning tea.

The hotel was very easy to locate, right in the lively heart of Sternschanze, walking distance from S-bahn and main Bus lines. The area is very lively, with many cafés, restaurants and all the basic services. The room we got was on the 6th floor, served by lift which is very convenient, it was quiet and had a nice view on the neighbourhood. Rooms are equipped with all basic amenities, lots of sockets, clean and modern, bathroom renovated. Staff was friendly and accomodated our request of early check-in and storage of luggage. Dog friendly hotel. I would definitely book ot again! Opportunity for improvement: in the Deluxe room there were no blinds - only non-Blackout curtains, not ideal especially during spring /summer when daylight is long. In the room with 4 beds would be ideal having a sofa or chairs/desk.

The location and Anton at the front office was super helpful and professional The room layout was a bit unconventional and we heard the elevator loud and clear.

Lovely reception staff Nice view from our room Our room was right next to the lift, which meant that even with ear plugs we woke up frequently during the night and couldn't sleep past 6am. We could not have done a second night of this.

I was so happy with this stay, perfect for bigger groups as well since the rooms are very spacious and bright. We traveled with a dog and that was no problems. The beds were super comfortable as well. Everything you need such as bars, restaurants, supermarkets and transportation is only minutes away.

Bit thin walls so you can hear the neighbouring rooms quite a bit. Beds are very basic.

staff was really kind and friendly location perfect The room was too small for four people. There were no chairs, armchairs, or a table to hang out, apart from the bed. Of course, these weren’t promised in the description, and honestly, I didn’t pay much attention, but I believe they are basic amenities that should be in any room. The room also lacked basic electronic devices such as a kettle or a hairdryer. Renting a kettle with a deposit was quite an interesting experience!

Functional room, everything was clean, beds were comfortable. Limited reception hours in the off season and nobody took the phone, so took us a bit to figure out key retrieval and check-in. But all worked out.
