The room was clean and the staff very nice and helpful. The hotel is in a very nice neighborhood and located next to the S Bahn and many cafés and restaurants. The single room is tiny but has everything. WiFi was not always great.

Good location, friendly staff Mattresses are very, very worn out and thus too soft

Location, staff, and bathroom! The room smelled like smoke the whole time. Other rooms seemed more modern and upgraded.

Very cure hotel, high ceiling in the room, really nice decoration, I loved the bedside lights! The bed is super comfortable. The bathroom is nice and clean, good size, everything you need. There is a fridge and a small balcony looking over the busy street. The guy was super helpful and nice, every room has a different name. You get an actual key to the room, not a card! The location is very good, easily accesible by public transport, in a very busy young neighbourhood with ridiculous amount of restaurants around, also grocery stores. I had to do research, I believe the place is named after Hamburg's most famous serial killer, maybe I'm wrong, but it's a cool story if it's true. :) I should've asked! :) The water pressure in the shower is insane, I couldn't use it full, it was too much for me, but Seinfeld taught me that is a desirable thing. There is free coffee and tea, mugs, English channels on TV. Free earplugs, were not needed, but there is construction going on right outside, also the train, but it's quiet at night. Pretty cool place! Construction right outside, it's noisy during the day. The neighbourhood can be too loud, many people walking by all the time, like thousands, constantly! Also the train, if the balcony door is open. A lot of graffiti everywhere around, which can make it seem unsafe, also you might see some weird people around. Plugs for charging phones are not convenient, we unplugged the coffee maker. The curtains are not enough, no day time curtain, we were on the first floor, so everyone could see us, not that they wanted to, but it was possible. The stairs a bit too small, curved, but that's normal in old buildings. The shower pressure was too much for me, if you want to wash your face, it would actually hurt badly! No air circulation, but there is a fan in the room. No breakfast.

Staff is nice The room was dirty and reeked of cigarettes. The bunk beds were also not suitable for young children (under 4) - as a matter of fact, they were outright dangerous. Really this is a youth hostel, not a boutique hotel. Which is fine, just advertise and charge accordingly. Very poor experience.

Nicely decorated, cool and friendly vibe. Good showers. Helpful and friendly staff. Room 9 smelt strongly of frying (immediately above the donor kebab shop below) and the bed was completely inadequate for two as it sagged towards the middle. So much so that we took the mattress off to see if one or two of the slats had broken (they hadn’t). We spoke to the staff about it in the morning and they were really helpful, acknowledged the problem and moved us into a much better room. However it is a shame that they are putting couples in this room when they know the bed is inadequate for a couple. They should get a replacement one.

Great location, very close to the subway and bus station. Large and comfortable room. Very friendly and helpful staff.Coffee and tea available in the room were my salvation, considering I was leaving early to attend a conference. Kind and helpful staff!!! In the bathroom there is a bathtub, a little uncomfortable. The room was cold on arrival, but it was enough to turn on the heater to have a nice warmth

Very convenient place and very easy to get to, it is served by public transportation and is easy to reach from both the fairgrounds and the central station. Good restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. The staff is kind and tries to meet requests as best as possible. In the room there wasn't any WiFi, I tried to get in contact with the staff but after 5 pm it cannot be reached to solve problems. The bed was noisy. The door of the room is quite light and not at all insulating from noise (but the other guests were not a problem at all, all very respectfull). A day-curtain would help, because the window looks directly at the school entrance and there is only the cut-off curtain.
