good breakfast, good location - walking distance from the Metro, easy to reach the city sights, very friendly staff no airconditioning in the room, so you can imagine how hot it could get in the summer months and we got an attic room.

Staff were very friendly, one of the receptionist gave my son a treat. The location was good, good access to everything you need. There was no restaurant in the hotel for evening meal.

It was very conveniently located next to the U1 station, Wandsbek Markt. Breakfast was excellent and varied. The room, whilst a bit on the small side, was very comfortable. Luckily the weather wasn’t too hot while we were in Hamburg, but had it been hot, the room would probably have been quite uncomfortable as there is no air conditioning. A fan was provided, which was good. The ensuite was fine, but rather small and felt a little bit like you were in a motorhome. Not a criticism, but just mentioning it as information. We were on the fourth floor and the lift, which was very slow, only went up to the third floor. Again, nothing major, just mentioning it as information.

Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location was excellent, very near to all public transport. My room was clean, cool and quiet during a spell of very hot weather. Nice towels and toiletries. Comfortable chairs in room. The breakfast was fine, the choice was reasonable but as I am cows milk intolerant I could not have any of the yogurt. The cups were a little small for tea, I would have appreciated a pot, or a larger mug as I do not take tea strong.
