Great location, great staff and amazing and very accommodating with my dog! The room could be a little more modern but that's just being nit picky really. I didn't like the square super soft pillows. No big light in the room.

A great location overlooking the lake and waterfront and Alster. Even though it’s close to a busy road there was no noise at all. A grand old style building (that was why I chose this hotel), for its architecture and attention to detail. Staff very welcoming and a good choice at breakfast. Tea, coffee or water in the room would have been nice.

Great Hamburg location so close to the water, walkable into the downtown, pleasant tree-lined street, with friendly staff. The old stairwell is so pretty, as is the lobby. Nice room with great bathroom and view of the Alster. WHY oh why is there no refrigerator in the room? Unacceptable. The fridge has been taken out, and when we asked, the lady at Reception said we would have needed to request/order a fridge in advance!? And wait for it to be delivered, plugged in and then wait for it to get cool? This hotel is not a cheap or budget option. I always get some organic milk, yoghurt and/or Spezi and store it when I arrive. Bring back the refrigerators, please.

The location is near a very active part of town, so there are many restaurants and breakfast places. The saint Georg area is also very fabulous.? The pictures on the website made it look like we would have water-front view, there may be some rooms that have water-front view… but they are minimal, and most buildings are obstructed by another building.

Lage, ruhig, Blick auf Alster, naheliegend Restaurants, Cafés, spazierengänge No water kettle, tea or water in the room. And bar/restaurant was closed.

There was a nice dog bed There was mold in the windows. That is unacceptable. My wife has asthma.

Right opposite to the Alster, beautiful location, friendly staff! No proper ceiling lights in the single bed room just some lamps.

Comfortable hotel that is a bit of a throwback to 1990s design. But comfortable beds, helpful staff and great location. Nothing problematic.
