Loved the quirkiness of staying on a boat. Every single member of staff was delightful and their friendliness and kindness were from the heart. Everyone I encountered couldn't do enough for me and treated me as an individual. There was a high standard of cleanliness and security. I appreciated the safe in my cabin. My bunk was small, of course, but very comfortable and the linen was nice. A lovely man prepared a sandwich for me to take away on my final morning because I had an early train. Another lovely man carried my baggage up the steps to Baumwall U - and another helped me with my phone service. Great location in view of Elbphilharmonie and easy walking distance of centre. U Bahn was moments away and on same line U3 as Hbf. Perfect. Nothing. But be warned: the single cabin w shower room is small so small people will be happiest in it. I had too much luggage! My fault but I was on a long journey.

It is a unique place to spend your nights. The cabin is cute - it feels like you sleep in a drawer, but the bed is comfy. The staff is open and friendly. The location is lovely - easy access to the promenade, philharmoni, city. It has a special motor room smell in the cabin, but it is possible to get use to it.

We visited Hamburg for a performance at the Elbphilharmonie. Das Feuerschiff is close by. The breakfast was nice. There is limited information about the accommodations in the “hotel” or about getting to the property. Taxis don’t know where the hell it is. This is an anchored small ship and there are stairs to get onto the vessel and stairs to access the hotel area. The ship is not easily accessible and there is no information about that. The room is extremely small. This is a small ship. Guests are staying in sailor bunks. One bed is a bunk that you have to climb into. The shower in the small bathroom has no containment so the entire floor would get wet. The pillows are crap. I asked for an extra pillow and they didn’t have extras. I had booked two nights but only stayed one and forfeited my reservation because they would not credit. We ended up staying one night at Stella Maria which was much more pleasant and still nearby the concert hall. It was also closer to more restaurants.

Location excellent, very friendly helpful staff, & the boat was very warm. Nothing to fault!

Not much Tiny little cabins with ear plugs provided because they have party’s. Don’t book if you want a good nights sleep

Location, the Ship We booked because it was interesting accomodation and it had a bar and restaurant, When we arrived to find they had booked the bars and restaurants out to Xmas functions so we were not allowed in to either, As a hotel resident this is outrageous, it's one of the reason we booked. Not happy at all which will reflect on Trip Advisor

The staff were super friendly ! Really fun vibe on the ship - something a bit different : ) Nice breakfast and bar area!! I liked the room and the shower. The bed was small and hard (but not so bad - it was part of the " authentic cabin experience" ) lol

Locarion and originality No ventilation in the room. Very expensive parking facilities around the location. We paid 47 euro from 19h30 to 9 h in a parking garage that was indicated by the staff

The hotel (or maybe Booking) didn't take into account the booking we had made several month before, we arrived at midnight (it was supposed to be open until 1) and the night watchman just told us that we didn't have any room in our name, we had to find another hotel in the middle of the night, very bad experience...

Original place to sleep You can’t open the windows in the room, make sense - it’s a boat - but in summertime feels like you’re sleeping in a sauna. The shower area was moldy (same reason as above)

The accomodation, restaurant and bar were all excellent. The staff were all wonderful, very welcoming from the start...great humour also. Bar staff Save and Salah get honourable mentions. The staff on were so accommodating also as I was very late for breakfast but nothing was too much trouble. Views from the boat were fantastic. The room was funky Nothing

This place had so much character! and friendly staff. Location was perfect for exploring the city and what a lovely city it is. Everything is a quick walk away. Food at the hotel was very good. Bed was a little uncomfortable for me, but it wasn't the fault of the hotel as it was clearly stated what the room was like. It was a little hard for me to get up and down from the bunk. It was a wonderful challenge, and I will remember it forever. I am happy I stayed here.
