Excellent staff, available at all hours. Always polite, helpful and smiling. Location is helpful, short walk from Berliner Tor. Beer, drinks and water available to purchase at all times, which I used every day. Big lounge area (didn't use). Fan didn't work, excessive road noise at my particular room, maybe luck of the draw. Very warm, but beds were ok. No fridge in the room.

The staff were wondeful and the facilities were good. The window was huge. The breakfast could have been better. There is a trainline in front of the hotel, don’t like the noise from the train.

The location was good . Near underground and train station. They were very nice at the reception. The room was big and the design was original. The beds are very low so they are not suitable for elderly people or with knees or hips problems . I don't think they cleaned the room or the bathroom during the 5 nights we spent there. They changed the bath towels There weren't many restaurants near the hotel.

Cozy place in rather central location. We loved the vibe of the place itself and the friendliness of the staff. Room was great, and kids could stay in the same room with extra beds. Amazing breakfast! The neighborhood is a bit dull, next to train tracks and a big street with other hotels, but you are quickly connected with public transport.

The staff are truly the greatest luxury this hotel has to offer. ❤️ From the very first moment, I felt less like a guest and more like I was surrounded by family—by friends you know you can count on at any time. Their warmth, genuine smiles, kindness, and attention to every little detail made my stay unforgettable. Staying at Superbude St. Georg wasn't just about spending a night in a hotel; it was about feeling welcomed, cared for, and completely at home. It was an absolute joy and a true privilege to stay at Superbude St. Georg. I genuinely can't wait to come back! Honestly, there is absolutely nothing I could complain about. If I had to mention a negative point, it would simply be that my stay was far too short. Everything exceeded my expectations—from the stylish design and incredibly comfortable rooms to the outstanding location and, above all, the extraordinary people who make this place so special. Superbude St. Georg isn't just a hotel; it's an experience. It's one of those rare places that makes you feel at home the moment you walk through the door, and one that you genuinely look forward to returning to. I recommend it with complete confidence. Without a doubt, it has become one of my favorite places to stay anywhere in Europe.

The staff were so lovely. They have some cool activities like ping pong, Kino and fussball. There was an English book in the room and I really loved reading that. Shower pressure is great! Queer friendly The room is incredibly hot, 1 desk fan for two people and the room never cooled down even with the window open all night. Also it was a hard decision to keep the window open because you get so much noise: the reception has a bar nearby the cool activities so there was noise from the hotel itself, the trains run loudly directly opposite the hotel, as well as 3 or 4 separate construction sites surrounding the hotel, there are also helicopters so incredibly loud flying constantly around this area because it's not the most clean location. There are a lot of teenagers around the area (skate park opposite the hotel) and as we walked down the street they were even throwing water balloons out of hotel windows onto the pavement. The rooms are clean, but the carpets and/or curtains are old and dirty and make the room smell bad, exacerbated by the endless trapped heat. We were not a fan of the shampoo provided either.

Overall, we had a good experience at this youth hostel, and the breakfast was good. However, there was no elevator to our room on the second floor. Our room was also close to the road and had no air conditioning, so we had to keep the windows open. It was quite noisy on the first night, but we gradually got used to it and were usually too tired for the noise to bother us.

Although I checked in online in advance using the link they sent, I still had to go to reception because, as they told, "their system doesn't always work." There was an oyster shell under the bed—presumably left over from the previous guest's dinner. For all I know, it might still be there. Overall, the hostel tries hard to be authentic and hipster, but it lacks any real atmosphere. Maybe we were just unlucky, but I wouldn't stay there again.

First the staff was so so so lovely and welcoming! The hotel/hostel is super cute, with loads of attentive details and nice things, the whole property is really clean, the bed was comfy. The only thing to mention is, that it’s also a hostel, so there were people coming back from partying (I guess) around 4 AM and stayed outside in the patio. But we closed the windows and it was okay then.
