City Center Motel

We stayed for 3 nights. The only noise at night was the plumbing, which is just part of the hotel noise. The king size bed very comfortable. 3 pillows each, awesome. Room smelled fresh and clean. Bed sheets very clean. Great area, walking distance from all Main St shops. I love this hotel. This is the 3rd or 4th time I have stayed here while in Hamilton. Staff helpful and friendly. Love it.

We just did an overnight stay. We arrived after the staff had left. They made it very easy to gain entry to our room. Highly recommend this place.

I simply cannot say enough good things about the City Center Motel. This was one of several stays in a road trip through BC, MT and ID and without a question our top pick! First out, the owner (who happened to be on site when we checked in) is lovely. She went above and beyond to accompany special requests, made wonderful locale-relevant suggestions, etc. and is someone who clearly cares deeply about her community. Our room (King Studio) was completely spotless--immaculate really. Welcoming. Tastefully and thoughtfully executed--Beautifully made out beds with extra yummy linens and deliciously thick towels. There are so many little touches that subtly move this a notch above simply a great night's stay. Small things like the mirror inset into the big walk-in shower (which was a delicious with strong rainshower) for my partner's morning shave, a refrigerator/freezer that accommodated everything we'd packed). And a sweet takeaway tote that is always useful for roadtripping! Their name says it --great central location that is an instant walkabout to this wonderful and fully charming town. We will make a point to route through Hamilton again and again!

We never stayed there. I tried to book a room there and during the process the internet service went down and I thought it wouldn’t go through. I found out later that it did go through at some point, because the hotel called me, but I had already checked into a different hotel, because I had no idea the City Center Motel went through after I stopped trying because there was no service. I didn’t like that they were no help at all and didn’t care that they were charging me over $150 for a room I didn’t even know went through due to internet service being down. The lady at the hotel that called me said I’d have to contact Booking.com, which I did, twice. Booking.com sent an email to City Center Motel and told me the motel would have to respond to them. I assume the motel never responded to Booking.com, because I have had my credit card charged by this motel. It was easy money for them. I will never book a room with that motel when in that area.

Great staff, walking distance to anything you would need, clean, quiet. Nothing.

Wonderful stay, close to downtown and shops. Easy check in and very friendly helpful staff. We will be back!

Great staff

The room smelled over powering with cleaner, we had to sleep with our window open and leave it open. I thought once it aired out it would be okay, it stayed throughout our entire stay. The beds were okay except I kept rolling to the middle. I saw the check in person once to check us in and then not again.

It was great for my family’s weekend to watch my niece play ball.

The price is expensive including taxes. Since they didn't have everything I expected for a room with a kitchen. They didn't have towel paper. The pans didn't have lits. No cutting board. And the aluminum smell filled the room when we cooked something. In addition, the soap was very stinky. We couldn't even smell it. And the shampoo and hair conditioning had the same smell. They had a table with no chairs. But we were three people. It was very uncomfortable to cook and eat there. I was very disappointed. I chose it because I have health issues and I have to cook. I cannot just eat anything like normal people. I truly expected more. Now, this is about the facilities and the room, specifically. The workers, and communication to help us out with the check-in online and the instructions to open the door, etc, was just nice and perfect. ??

Outstanding location, extremely clean and very good customer service. If I had to be extremely picky it would be that they didn’t have paper towels.

The room was decent. I was just under the impression that it was just renovated. The bathrooms are clearly not renovated maybe new paint the beds were fairly comfortable that the sheets were not good just all in all still a motel not a hotel and maybe a 4.1 star if not a three.

This place was clean and in a perfect location. The beds were extremely comfortable. The only thing missing was there was no closet space. It was a simple but well appointed unit.

Stay here a lot for work. Always clean & smiling faces. A few good spots to eat within walking distance.
