It was a simple, comfortable well appointed room. It's location was good - only a short drive to the Newcastle Entertainment Centre. Communication was good and access was via a code so accessible at all times (no reception staff). All rooms were upstairs. The TV didn't work. They did send someone promptly to try and fix but were unable to. The fire alarm went off about midnight and we had to evacuate - apparently a false alarm.

No house keeping around to get essential things we needed constantly locked out of the building with the code to unlock doors I had to purchase essential basic things which shouldn't have to when you pay for that with your room

The price is excellent and apart from the smoke pollution, the room was very clean The room had a strong smell of smoke. It was not possible to sleep in such a polluted room.

The location, contact less check in and on-site parking. Despite being advertised as non-smoking the hallway out side the rooms smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. To add to that there was mould on the brickwork and the room smelled musty. I am an asthmatic so all that is a huge issue. The carpet was ripped, the fridge wasn't cold to the point the milk that was in the fridge and was in date was bloated, like it was off, the freezer was all frozen up and the hot water was steaming hot one minute and cold the next we couldn't get steady heat. I slept in the single bed and the bottom sheet didn't go all the way to the bottom. The stairs were a massive problem, you should make it very clear that there is no lift. The photos are extremely deceptive. The whole place looked like some dodgy motel straight out of an episode of CSI, fortunately we didn't find any bodies but wouldn't have been surprised if one fell out of a cupboard.

the room was great value for money close to hamilton food and restraunts as well as nice little pub next door parking was a bit tight and no on site staff

It's was close to everything the bed were comfortable the access was good the room and shower was nice There's only spoons and cups no plates bowls, knives or forks I had to eat with a spoon, there was mold under the sink in the bathroom and tiny spots of blood on the beds and the 2 of the 3 bedside table lights were broken including the main light

It's a basic hotel well located within walking distance of Beaumont St. Noisy with traffic if you have a room on the road side of the building, and no staff at the hotel if you have any issues. Rooms are basic but clean. No staff at hotel.
