Staff were so accomadating during the big tornado power outage. It was a safe and welcoming stay.

I had traveled to the hotel to visit Indiana Dunes National Park. It was in a unique position being extremely full with local residents as well after the storms impacted the area and much of the region had power outages. The staff were very helpful and I found the property clean and comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good and overall I had a great stay. I've been staying at mostly Choice Hotels lately but this was a good reminder of why Holiday Inn can be a great stay!

I didn't like the fact that a staff member attempted to enter my room at 1:40am claiming that they thought the room was vacant!! Did not knock did not announce herself went back and forth with me mid morning about me not being assigned to the room!!! Even though I was in the room and had a key!! Very distasteful very unprofessional and not to mention alarming!!!! With all that is happening i already paid a hiked up price of $250 for 1 night to be treated as such!!! Not Good!!!

I checked out early and my bill still has not been updated. I have been charged for an extra day. Most of the hotel front desk was unhelpful. I asked three times for my bill to be emailed. Never received. I left a few things I left behind and no one responds to email. The direct phone line does not work.

Rooms were clean, free breakfast was great! Employees were very kind and helpful!

Desk attendant refused to let us register before 3:00pm. I know it’s the rule but annoying. thru-the-wall heat/cool unit was noisy; did not control temps well. Shower took a full five minutes to get hot water. We got the largest room, but only one small chair, no table. Frig made a constant loud knocking noise. None of these are show stoppers but all together convinced me to avoid Holiday Inns.

Breakfast was good one day, not quite as good the other Housekeeping-stayed 3 nights and towels never refreshed.

Property met our expectations. Room was clean, staff was very pleasant and breakfast was good for our needs.
