Aurora Premium - A Lifestyle Hotel

We paid for a big room and it was spacious. Aurora Premium stands out among many boutique hotels in Old Quarter, Hanoi. We stayed for almost a week. Staff were friendly. While breakfast section was not big, it was good enough, the hot food section changed daily during our stay. The decoration and details were beautiful. The bed was comfortable. It's only a few minutes walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and the weekend market also a short walk. The room was quiet with very minimal street noise. We slept well every night. The bathtub has shower heads but the water easily splash outside and wet the bathroom floor. I don't know how many people would enjoy the tub in a hot & humid weather. A walk-in shower would have been practical. The shower temperature was sometimes unsteady, since the weather was hot, we're fine with it getting cold. The air-conditioner works well but it blows directly to the working desk, it's too cold to sit there while using my laptop. I could raise the temperature but other parts of the room would feel too warm. On the other hand, at least, it does not blow directly to the head of our bed. A few nearby restaurants were priced higher than expectation and the provided food did not match the money we paid. We found more tasty restaurants at cheaper price when we walked out further.

Great location, lovely rooms, pretty quiet even though it’s located in the main area. Good breakfast (until 09:30). Staff were really nice. AC was very strong, and setting to low didn’t work - it was still strong. From the moment we started check out we felt very pressured by the staff to review the hotel. While we understand the importance of reviewing, it made us feel uncomfortable. Even after leaving the hotel we’d still get messages.

Booking.com told me a price for the room. Booking said the hotel would place a hold on my credit card. Later, the hotel sent messages saying I would need to present that card when checking in--but I made the reservation for other people who would not have my card. Also, the hotel said that if I paid by card, the hotel would charge an add additional 3%. In short, if you book with Booking, you will learn there are hidden restrictions and charges.

The staff are very hospitable. They made our stay comfortable and with ease. This is the kind of staff that will make your stay worthwhile, friendly and approachable. I have yet to think on that, so far all has been exceptional!

Great location. Zoe the customer service was really nice and welcoming The check in was longer than expected - the team gave us the feeling the room wasn't ready for us even though they promised it would be. It wasn't that clean - dead bugs on the walls, stains on the curtains, the shower was built so bad so water leaked from everywhere on the bathroom floor. I really don't know who rated this hotel so highly

Wonderful breakfast provided in top floor restaurant with great views. Roof top bar is very nice too. Staff helpful and very accommodating. Our room was pretty, comfortable and well appointed, but a bit small to be called an executive suite. Massage offered throughput the day and was very good. Only one elevator, for a 12 floor busy hotel meant you had to wait a while on occasion.

Everything was perfect. Extremely helpful and courteous staff, rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was top notch. Couldn't have picked a better spot.

Very clean, incredible location, and great value for money. Most importantly, their staff is exceptionally helpful and went out of their way to help us with bags, truly local recommendations for everything, and just making sure we had a warm and hospitable stay. We booked this last minute after another place we'd booked fell through, and I could not be happier we took that call! Ended up coming back to stay here again after our Ha Long Bay cruise.

All members of the hotel staff were extremely professional and accommodating throughout our entire stay. They took small notes about our preferences and offered helpful insights / recommendations about the area. The breakfast bar selection and rooftop views were wonderful. The hotel is also located in a prime location in the bustling Old Quarter (nearby Hoàn Kiếm Lake); moreover, we could not hear any city noise from within our room on the third floor (a really big plus). The room was on the small size, but for the price and location it's to be expected. Perhaps having a designated tray to place our outdoor shoes would have been a bonus, since the entrance is a bit tight.

We loved everything about our stay at this hotel. The staff were just amazing. The rooms and facilities were great. Breakfast was one of the best during our trip. Moon and Jenny were super helpful with making sure our stay was very comfortable. Everything was great so nothing to fault.
