Breakfast was elaborate ...lot of variety! Service staff were efficient. View was magnificent No room service after 10PM. The front desk help ordering from outside ....not the ideal situation to be in. Since the hotel bills for outside meals consumed by the resident guest, it therefore takes responsibility for hygiene etc. Weighing scale must be placed at the lobby for house guests to weigh the luggage at the time of check-out before connecting flight outside of Hanoi. This is quite normal now.

Location and staff were very nice. It’s clean. I loved that the sauna was not at an extra charge but the indoor pool was freezing. As in probably 10°, as close as you can get to an ice pool. I was put in a non smoking room and the whole time I could smell smoke. I believe it was coming through the bathroom vents. As I’m not a smoker, it’s not very good. I have shower baths. Thought it would be modern enough to have a glass screen instead of an old shower curtain

it did not have a convenience store nearby, nor a sundry (which I am accustomed to); it was a fair walk to get to the more “touristy” locations - needed to use ride share services often

Nothing We asked for all 3 rooms to be on the same floor so my parents, my children and my husband and I could be close and when we checked in you separated us all on different floors. The rooms we were allocated smelt very heavily of cigarette smoke and we asked to move. Then you found us all three rooms on the same floor no problem, but you did not do that when we first asked and checked in. My room had a very lumpy mattress and the bathtub was leaking The staff where not friendly, did not engage with us, were not helpful in any way. The breakfast variety was poor and the food was cold! If you are offering breakfast from 6am to 10am the food needs to be topped up and hot throughout that whole time. We arrived for breakfast at 9am and everything was cold. The indoor swimming pool was not heated and this was not made clear at all in the description. A "luxury" hotel should have a heated indoor swimming pool. On the last night my daughter and I were very sick. We both vomited. I called room service and asked for cleaning products so we can clean it up ourselves instead of asking you to do it. The night staff were not happy, no body came for ages, because he could not understand English he did not bring the right cleaning materials. So while i was sick, I had to use my OWN towel to clean the vomit. I called again asking for more toilet rolls. We used ours up because we had diarrhea but nobody ever came! Our normal checkout time on Saturday was normal but we were leaving early to get our flight home. You collected our bags at 7am, our airport transfer was booked for 7:45am but at 7:30am, Reception called me and told me to leave the room or we would charge us an extra day! It was not even check-out time. Then we came down at 7:30 to wait for our airport transfer for our international flight back and instead of 7:45 it never came. We received excuses saying it was on its way, then it was late because of traffic, then our 16 seater bus could not come because it...

The location was great for my travel needs. The breakfast buffet choices were great. Overall good experience. Carpets should really be removed from the rooms since it can get dusty and funky smelling. I had a few awkward interactions with reception when I call to enquire or reserve something and the staff does not speak English, they would just hangup on you!
