Beds were a little hard

It's really difficult to park with a scooter here. If you come home later in the evening, you should talk to the owner in advance because they gonna lock the gate after around 11 pm.

Location is good, near train station. There was little noise nearby. The room is clean. No elevator. No electric kettle. The closet door is broken.

The lady who operates the hotel (Thuy) is absolutely lovely. Hotel was spotless, room and bed was very spacious. 15 minute walk to the Old Quarter, 3 minute walk to Thong Nhat Park. Could not fault the place. N/A

The host was so nice, and the room was exactly what we wanted, enough space and comfortable !

A bit of a walk to the old town. Facilities are old and worn and though there is a fan, the bathroom had an unpleasant smell. Mosquitos would come in through the window, meaning you had to choose between getting fresh air vs getting bitten.

The pictures on Booking.com is pretty much exactly what the room will look like. The house was minimal, but kept very clean. The family room had 2 beds along with a night stand and 2 chairs. No full size table and no dresser. That was enough for us though. The room also has both a ceiling fan and a mini split AC unit so you could choose a light breeze or AC. The linen and towels felt soft and smelled clean. There were no bugs or lizards anywhere (as I came to find, this is quite hard to do in VN). The host was communicative and likes to leave letters to greet you when you arrive. The location is a bit out of the way from the main touristy areas, such as Old Quarter and the government buildings. However, it is close to the Ha Noi train station. That was exactly what we needed because we stayed here to prepare for an overnight train trip down to Hue. (Side note: if you don't like roaches, do NOT take the trains in VN. Trains are infested.) The price is also very affordable for your own space. The bathroom didn't have a suction fan. It's like a sauna with all your smells when you visit the toilet. You'll need to let the host know if you plan to be out past 10PM since the front gate gets locked for security at night. Minor inconvenience, but good safety.

The overall energy of the place was very depressing.

Very clean, new towels and toilet paper each day and very good air con. Great location, owner is so lovely and helpful ! Would recommend!!

The only downside was that the window in the room was quite small and there's not much daylight. Everything else was perfect.

Lovely, cosy accommodation in an excellent location. The room is comfortable and quiet, and the Wi-Fi is strong. I felt very comfortable and safe as a solo female traveller. Speedy and helpful communication from the lovely host. I would definitely recommend this accommodation :) N/A
