The hotel is really well placed in the Old Quarter and very close to the walking streets. Great location. It's a small hotel which suits us really well. Lots of restaurants nearby. Really helpful and friendly reception staff. The man on our first night had heaps of great recommendations for places to visit and marked them out on a map for us. We had a really pleasant stay. One of the two rooms we booked didn't have a window. It meant the room was very quiet and dark in the mornings, which might be great for those wanting a good sleep, but I missed the natural light.

The staff was very welcoming and sweet especially Mark and Rose. They were kind and guided us very well. We were very happy when they gave us an early check in too! Would definitely recommend anyone planning their stay at Old Quarters, Hanoi.

Not bad for last minute bed and bath, we booked it for one night when our cruise has been canceled due to typhoon alert. Older than the pics , one bedroom is small, no view from the old window.

The location was nice, you can walk to most attractions near by and the staff are very nice and helpful, so thay why I gave them tip. The room is smaller than details, a bit different than photos, I am booked for 2 queen with balcony, they gave me 1 queen 1 full with no balcony( they said it’s balcony) but for me it’s not, it small caged with 2 weak stands and on check out date, I want to pay with my card, but they want to add 3.3% extra without sign, notice, even on booking. So I choose pay by cash, my price still higher than my booking price, even with smaller room, I dont know why.

Its very clean and the receptionist was very helpful The only issue is the washroom. The water is coming out from the shower area so its creating a flood in the whole washroom area. They need to do something about that
