There was renovation at the property and it was loud in the bedroom. At the end, they moved me to another wing after 2 nights. Also at the pool you can hear construction all day long

The breakfast was the most wonderful selection of food gorgeously presented in the most lovely room. We loved our cocktails in the bamboo bar. In a charming location in the french quarter, close to wonderful shopping (very high end). There are two hotel buildings- one one in the back is nice but basic (our son stayed there). We asked to be moved to the other buildings and paid $300 US dollars more, but it was well worth it. We then received breakfast, tea and cocktails with a 3 tier plate of appetizers included in the price of our room. Well worth it!

Gorgeous property located in a quieter area of Hanoi. The hotel is a throwback to elegance; staff are professionals through and through, comfortable rooms well stocked with high end amenities, lush floral decorations throughout and thoughtful and much appreciated personal touches that spell “welcome and enjoy.” I might add we are not usually given to booking high end hotels on vacation but we decided to splurge and treat ourselves to several days of luxury for our 30th wedding anniversary vacation. Going out and exploring a city is our focus and on this trip, it was glorious to come back from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi and unwind on the property. There wasn’t a thing we could mention.

the front desk treated me and my daughter disrespectfully - we had a bank blockage issue arriving into the country and had been very sick on the plane. We were not received with graciousness that a hotel of this stature should offer. Very disappointing. The general manager of the hotel apologized which was appreciated, but I hope this offers a learning for that particular part of their staff towards future guests - please do not act robotically in a hospitality role.
