There are many hotels in Hanoi in this price range. The Cosy one of the best! The staff are super welcoming, helpful, and kind. The hotel had an elevator - helpful in the tight hotels of the Old Quarter. The room was in excellent shape. Good size TV for the room. Internet was solid throughout the stay. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Hot and cold water. The breakfast included was pretty darn good; located on the top floor, it had good views of the city. Its a small thing, but many of the hotel rooms in Vietnam use a room key to control power to the room when you are in it. Most times the fridge stops working when you leave the room - NOT HERE! A nice touch that shows the well thought out nature they put into designing this place. It is located in a small ally off a main street, takes 30 seconds to be in the 'action.' There is lovely accent lighting in the room as well - a nice perk. Thanks for a great stay John. The hotel location is difficult to find. It is located 30m down a 4' wide ally that has a sign for 'Spa' above the entrance. You will see the hotel once looking down the alley. Google maps is hit or miss when approaching. A perk of this offset location is that you are close to the action of the Old Quarter but the noise is muted a lot considering its location.

The location was amazing. You are in the middle of everything, but you can't hear the noise, which is crazy for Hanoi. I was having a birthday during my stay and they surprised me with a cake. Thank you once again.

The staff is great and super nice. They let me store my large luggage while I was on the Ha Giang Loop and they kept something safe for me until I came back that I had left in the restroom when freshing up. They were also very communicative before and after checking out to make sure, I had everything booked and secured before flying out of Hanoi. The room didn't have a proper window, which didn't bother me because I was only staying 1 night, but it wasn't disclosed when booking the room. I also had some misunderstanding with the airport driver that they arranged, but they took care of it for me, which I appreciated it.

The staff was truly exceptional, flexible and willing to help with literally anything! Checking in late at night? No problem! Need help with your tours in Vietnam? John got you covered! Have a question or need to adjust your booking? Tracy is always there for you. Need some help or just would like to chat about Vietnamese culture? Look for Lucy's lovely smile, she will be happy to assist you. And all the other staff members I've met with were also caring. Some of the breakfast options are quite few, though all are very delicious. Moreover, I did have some bad experiences with the Ha Long bay tour which the staff helped me to book, but these are the faults of the third-party company. (The most inconvenient bus ride by far in my life - there was so little space between the seats that I had to press my knees into the back of the seat in front of me; and the so-called "5 stars cruise" wasn't that good either - they did not allow us to bring our own water to the cruise, so we needed to buy their overpriced drinks, but what is even worse, if you wanted to eat dessert after your lunch and did not rush for it before you finished your meal, you found nothing left - and when I politely ask them to refill, they simply said that it is finished, without any apologies, seeming that this is their normal business.)

The reception and service were outstanding. John, Tracy, Lucy, and James made us feel so welcome and were always ready to help with anything we needed. The hotel is comfortable, quiet, and surprisingly peaceful even though it’s in a super convenient location! Breakfast was delicious and complete, and the whole team made the experience even better with their kindness. We truly loved staying here :)

The room and bath were nice, clean and well-maintained. Staff was superb. Tracy at reception days and John, manager, were exceptional, welcoming, accomodating, and very helpful in providing local information and language help. The breakfast was excellent, good choices prepared individually by the kitchen, service, and a buffet that featured daily selection of fruit including some tropical specialties. The rooftop dining area with city views a big plus. All around a most pleasant place to stay! Note, it may be a bit difficult to notice the hotel entryway. Among a number of restaurants with tables on the street, there is an address #22 above a door to a long hallway, at the end of the hall find the wonderful Cosy Inn.

The Cosy Inn lives up to its name—right in the heart of the action but tucked down an alleyway, so it's peaceful and quiet. The staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfast and view were lovely, and while the room was small, it was clean, met my needs, and the price was great too!

Great little hotel right in the heart of old town. The staff were amazing, so helpful with all our questions. Lovely breakfast. Room was very small, but we made it work.

Great value for money. Super friendly staff and lovely and tasty breakfast. The room was compact but had everything we needed. Location right next to the beer street so you could hear noise from the street late into the night but otherwise the location was perfect right in the heart of the old quarter.

The staff is very helpful & the always there for help Specially Jonh & Tracey. Very clean rooms & Good Breakfast. We are vegetarian hence we have requested for Veg breakfast. They have arrange the Veg breakfast also.
