Within walking distance of hoan kiem lake in a more quiet location and also within 30 min walk of most of the cultural sites. I liked everything about the property.

Perfect location, the staff was very helpful and the rooms were comfortable. The breakfast was nice. The walls were quite thin, so you could hear what was going on in every room next and above you. Also the quality of the internet was not ideal for video calls.

Location When entering the Lobby a distinct damp smell was present, The bathroom had a leaking bath and also a leaking toilet hose and broken Toilet seat in the other bathroom ( See Pics), the bathroom size was only 10 inches bigger than the bath itself. The television did not work in the room also. the settee in the family room had not been wiped down in a long time( it was leather) and my partner cleaned it before using it and the dirt that came off was incredible, we would not sit on it without using a towel. Staff where incredible rude with no acknowledgment or good morning, upon booking out they used a calculate that i could not believe was so thick with dirty around the keys. I was charged 3 % for using a credit card which i have never experienced in a Hotel before.Breakfast was very poor with eggs being pre cooked and placed in a ban marie , I have not experienced any Hotel who did not have some kind of egg station for poached, scrambled etc made for you. To summaries the staff of the Hotel is clear they have given up as there is no effort and I would suggest by the managers attitude this is based on neglect and no investment in Broken items . Laundry new and old was left in the Hall ways for hours every day ( see pic) which is a huge hazard in form of the fire exits.This is no way a 4 star hotel, I would suggest good 2 star or poor 3 star, I have never felt compelled to post pictures on a review but the Hotel was so poor i feel I should to warn others

Central location and reception staff is worth mentioning. Air-conditioning was turning on by itself even though I turned it off. Blinds don't roll up for day light and window was jammed shut. Tv has no reception, no channels were available. Wifi was touch and go, no data reception most of the time. Bathroom was average, most of the sealants around the shower and surrounds had peeled off, requires renovation all round. Overall the room was run down with obvious touch ups on the walls and cupboard doors giving it a very cheap look.

Nice property to stay in the city centre and roam around for short period of time. Everything was fine.
