The property is at a nice location. The famous lake and Saint Joseph cathedral is quite close. The breakfast was good with tasty croissants and different kind of breakfast options available. The staff were very welcoming and ready to help. We felt very comfortable. Highly recommended. 1. The toilet did not have jet spray faucet ( bum gun ), Before staying here. we stayed 3 nights at old quarter, stayed 6 nights at Phu Quoc and this was our final night before flying home next morning. All hotels we stayed at had jet spray faucet so management should think about it And it would also be good to have door lock for bathroom and toilet ?? 2. While the breakfast was very good, we would have loved to have chicken or fish options available. The others hotels we stayed at, during our 10 day trip spoiled us by offering delicious fried fish ( like fish and chips) in breakfast every morning ??

The cafe staff didnt really understand english. I asked for half cooked scramble egg buat they cooked it until very well done. Also We are not allowed to take the slippers.

Only issue we had was the taxi we’d book through the hotel to pick us up from the airport didn’t show but they deducted it from our bill.

I arrived at night and had a really bad experience trying to find Grand Cititel Hotel in Hanoi. The hotel is actually located in a small valley that’s very hard to find, and cars can’t even get inside. The path leading down was full of rubbish, which made the whole area look dirty and unpleasant. After seeing the condition of the place and struggling just to reach it, I decided to leave and find another hotel instead.

Breakfast options were great. Location was what we wanted Room keys didn't always work. Also, disappointed that we were quoted one price for the shuttle from the airport and told of higher price less than 24 hours before arrival due to Tet upcharge. This left no time for me to make other arrangements. You knew one year ago that Tet was on this week, it should not have been a surprise. The hotel should have absorbed the upcharge.

The breakfast is good. I heard the coffee in the room was very good. The path to get to the hotel is not great for a bag with wheels. Gym was not good at all, of 3 machines only one worked, the mat was filthy and there were used towels scattered on a shelf.

Throughout our stay, the service was outstanding. Thomas and his team’s care and attention made a real difference. Even after our stay, his team kindly helped us by keeping our luggage for a few hours while we went out for lunch before heading to the airport, which we really appreciated. We are deeply grateful for all the support we received before, during, and after our stay. Overall, the hotel, the staff, and the service were exceptional. We had an amazing time in Hanoi and would highly recommend Thomas and his team (including Ivy & Lisa) to anyone planning to spend a few days there.

The isolation of the door is zero, you can hear and wake up for someone passing the corridor. People were often shouting outside or in other rooms so was waking up often for the noise.

He is knowledgeable and gave good suggestions of restaurants and attractions around the area. Mr . Dinh, Leah and the other staff were very professional at check in and check out . People like Mr Dinh help out visitors like us to make wonderful memories of our first time trip in VietNam. It was a pleasure to have met someone really nice like him. The facility was clean and comfortable. Keep up the good work. The weather was very hot and humid at the time of our trip. There was not enough time to see the whole area. It was hard to get used to the number of motorbikes on the road and crossing. Though these are not the hotels fault .

I like that the place is quite clean and peaceful. Staffs are very friendly and polite. Room is cleaned and maintained on a daily basis which is a big plus for our stay to be more comfortable. It would have been better if they have the bidet in the washroom.

We only stayed one night but the facilities were nice, the staff amazing, and the location near many restaurants. Would probably stay again. NA
