It's JW Marriott. If Marriott was good this is the more upscale, richer cousin. Excellent facilities, great rooms and the staff are some of the best trained I've had the chance to interact with. Their command of the English language is superb, considering Vietnam is not a mainly English speaking country. They assist the guests at every inquiry. Food is great. Room service response time is also good. Nothing really. The location is a bit away from the main part of the city (it can take up to an hour via GRAB to get to the Old Quarter on a busy day) but you get the feeling of realxation.

When you walk into this hotel it feels luxurious. The bedrooms are beautiful and the beds very comfortable. The De'Longhi coffee maker makes wonderful coffee. I love the freestanding bathtub and generous sized shower. The heated loo seat and fancy bidet options were fun. Some of the facilities such as the sauna were being remodelled and were unavailable. The buffet restaurant was hard to find. The gardens were limited and unimaginative.

It’s a big hotel, with gardens and a variety of restraunts. The wellness spa is nice too. Went there twice in 5 days Location is the only downside as a tourist as alot of touristy stuff is around the old quarter area

The property is located far from the old quarter and the noise. The rooms on the executive floor are fantastic and the lounge is great. I was there for two stays in two weeks; over 9 days. I cannot say enough about how good the food is in the Marriott! Part of my trip was cancelled due to the historic flooding in Hoi An at the end of October. Lyn Do, a staff member in the lounge, was very generous with his time and expertise. He helped me make a new plan and make the most of my time in his country. In low traffic it is a 30 minute cab ride and in high traffic it can be well over an hour. That said, I still loved it! I went into the old quarter often but craved the peace of this hotel at night!

I like the property and the friendliness of the staffs. They are super helpful and the property is clean and cozy. The breakfest were lovely. Location is great for business travel. I wouldnt say i didnt like but more like an improvement. The friendliness of the staffs are bit robotic but i actually understand they are trying their best to help.
