Good central location, just minutes from the airport bus station and the old quarter. Cleanliness was decent. Sound isolation is poor, meaning you will hear everything. The washroom has no door, only a curtain and there are no ledges and few hooks to hang your things on in the showers. The worst part was having a drunk on the bunk above mine - aside from him spilling beer all over the place he made belching noises and even dripped some mysterious liquid onto my bed and almost onto me. The staffer was kind enough to change my bed at such a late hour but I didn't get any sleep until the Indian guests who'd just checked in finally quieted down. Also don't exchange your money here - the gold shops just a few streets down will do it for you at a much better rate.

Hostel located in the heart of the Old Quarter of Hanoi and right down in the night market on weekends. Staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was able to drop off my luggage while waiting to check-in. The room were good and bed was nice ! Shower and bathroom were really clean! There is AC in the dorms but it can really be a shock to go out from your room to Hanoi hot and moisty air. Be careful of not getting AC-sick. There was a beginning of a black mold on the wall beside my bed, probably from the hot and humid air of Hanoi.

Great location. It is located in the street where night market takes place every weekend. Comfortable bed, you have your own privacy Just the bathroom since it is shared for both men and women. I think it should be better if separated.

We had the family room which was spacious and private with it's own bathroom down the corridor. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the check in and check out process. Air con was very efficient. The family room was quite an odd design with windows/glass walls on 3 sides, it didn't really feel like a bedroom and had no wardrobes. The room was on the 5th floor so wouldn't be suitable if you had lots of luggage, are disabled or aren't physically fit. Despite being high up, the room was quite noisy as it was near the a generator/plant room in the building.

The hostel was in the very center. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. You get some privacy in the dorms because of the curtains in the bed. The private fans, lockers an socket was great! People starting washing their clothes on the ground floor as early as 6 am and the noise of these machines is horrible. It kept us up even if we were on the 4th floor. Better regulations around quiet hours would be great.
