Hard to find location

Nice rooms, location was great but is quite loud due to being just off of beer street.

Room. Staff was nice. Location of the hostel. A parallel street of the beer street. Really crowded at night. But the room was quiet silent but take some earplugs if ever :). Not well indicated where the hostel is.

Disappointing

Room super clean and comfortable bed. Good location and even though the building is close to a party street, I did not listen too much noise

Exceptional

Great place for the price. Fantastic location if you don’t know Hanoi well. Staff were very polite and kind. Be aware at night you’ll walk straight into the chaos of Beer Street. I didn’t mind this, but the novelty can wear off

Very clean. Very comfortable. Very affordable. Being just off Beer Street can definitely be annoying

Perfect location, nice comfortable bed.

Location is ok, but quite loud. It was not clean at all. Actually it seemed that the room had not been cleaned at all before we came. We did not have any towels. When we asked for it, the lady did not believe us and wanted to check herself. Then we saw that there were no pillow cases on the pillows. When we asked for that, the lady said she did not have any and if it was ok that we sleep without any pillowcases and she would get some the next day. It was not ok for us as we paid for this. We had to give her the idea to get some (hopefully) clean pillows from the room next door. Then we realized that also the bed sheets had not been changed as they were dirty. We asked to change them and at least they did that. But all in all it was just really annoying and the staff did not seem capable to check the room completely. Also in our friends room there was a bundle of hair in the bathroom. After we asked for room service the next day it was still there.

Clean comfortable rooms with a mini fridge, hot water and cold ac. My room was towards the back so there wasn’t much street noise though the window did look out to an indoor stairwell. It was a little difficult to find even with detailed instructions. The staff tried to guide me via WhatsApp but it’s a busy street at night and it isn’t fun walking up and down with a backpack . It might be helpful to post photos of the outside alley shops where to turn since it’s on a backstreet.

The property was centrally located. The property was too loud. The property did not get cleaned. The shower did not have a cubicle, it was a shower head above the toilet. We had to ask for replacement loo paper. I was continually hassled by drug dealers and sex workers near the entrance to the Homestay. We were told on check out that we had to pay cash, whilst in a rush to the airport. The staff were not helpful.

Good

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Good size of rooms with good AC as well. The property itself is very quiet and peaceful. Quite hard to find from google maps but not impossible. Beer street itself is very busy so be mindful of planning to come back late at night. It is very hard to walk through the crowds.

Great central location, very close proximity to pub street so expect some noise however not as bad as we had expected! Clean and modern room. Need a blind covering the door as the lights stay on at night making the room very bright.

- The location of the hostel is perfect, it is in the middle of Ta Hien street which very popular for tourists. - The room is comfortable for me, everything was clean and smell goods. - Friendly staffs, they are ready to help you with anything. - My room had some issue with the toilet lock and it can not be locked. - This hostel is located in the walking zone in the weekend so it can be difficult if you want to catch a bike/taxi. - The soundproof is not good and it could be noisy in the evening / early morning. - My room have one window but pointing to the staircase so there is no reason to use it.

In the Center of the Old Quarter The room was kind of dirty, which I did not see directly and therefore did not complain. There were many hairs in the shower. But also in the room itself, I found quite a few hair from my predecessor.

Very central in the old quarter, close to many shops, restaurants and the beer street, if that's a must for you. Didn't really feel too comfortable during our stay and would've wished to check out the place before we booked. Rather stayed elsewhere to be honest. Very loud by night due to being located right next door to the beer street (party area of old quarter). Staff seemed to not speak much English and wasn't from great help also seemed to be overworked from long hours of sitting behind the desk and overall not very accommodating to make a little effort for her guests to feel comfortable.

*Seems like a newly renovated building - very modern hotel style rooms, especially for Old Quarter! Room is comfortable and big enough. *Cleanliness was good. *Location will be great if you are interested in nightlife as it's in an alley right on the very busy beer street. *Overall would recommend and imagine the rooms with windows are going to be high quality. *Window in the room goes into stairwell, so no natural light or airflow. Room is nice enough where this is okay for a couple of days. *Not much sound isolation from the corridors and lower floors. *Bathroom is very small. *Difficult to find the homestay - directions should be provided in advance. *The location can be very annoying - every time you leave or enter the property, you have to pass all the bar touts trying to sell you drugs and get you to sit and drink.
