Honestly, there was nothing to like about the place! The staff doesn't speak English and they tried to extort money from us when payment was already made via Booking.com

Location was great. Close enough to gangaji but without the busy bussle. The staff were exceptionally rude and arrogant. Upon arrival I presented reception with a printed copy of my booking confirmation which clearly stipulated I had booked 2 rooms for 1night AND 1 room for 2nights. They had only booked us for 3 rooms 1 night although I had emailed them in to confirm the booking a week prior. They made out as they were doing us a favour by ‘squeezing us in for the 2nd nights stay’ for the 1 room but whatever, hoping the confusion had been resolved we went onto payment. I presented my amex to which they said the transaction frees will be too high and to pay cash instead. Tried from travelling for over 24 hours, we settled the payment in cash and proceeded to our allocated rooms. Issues that followed: 1- all 3 rooms were dirty from floors to walls and furniture. We requested for the bedding to be changed as they had food stains, which they replaced to more unclean and unpleasant smelling bedding. 2- only 1 room had toilet roll so we requested for this which was delivered to our room 2 hours later. 3- one room still had urine in and around the toilet seat from the previous occupants. The bathroom stank so bad! 4- as we arrived late evening, with some hope of a better experience we visited the hotel restaurant for dinner. It was almost like they bought it from a local shop and were just servicing it to us. 5- after almost 24hrs of travelling and an early start for asthi visarjan, reception decided to call us while we were asleep at 13:00AM to confirm what time we will all be checking out in the morning. That was the final straw. The following day after the ceremony at the river, we bought our departing flights forward as we could not stay in the hotel any longer! Absolutely the worst experience ever for me and my family. When raising the issues to the staff, they merely looked at each other and said very little! They offered us a small rebate for the early check out although the room rate was more. Stay clear, it’s not worth it!
