The room was exactly as advertised in the photos. Very comfortable and stylish room. Nice property with huge garden. Clean. Nice and friendly host. Very narrow road to the hotel (nothing exceptional in Wales). No room service unless asked for (but it was no problem to ask). Its an old house so you can hear noise from other rooms here and there.

Maes was an absolutely pretty location to spend a relaxing time in Snowdonia.The location, facilities and the host, Michelle made our stay unremarkable. Food was delicious and well worth the money. Anybody can spend a complete holiday just at Maes because it's such a pretty paradise. Room was very clean, easy to communicate with and the host and location was just perfect. Thank you Michelle, we will definitely be back. Xx Nothing

Character, location -surrounded by stunning views and easy access to both hill walking and beach combing. I was really well looked after, home from home with roaring fire and a glass in hand ? Slightly tricky to find, with variable reception, but the latter became a benefit and someone available on the phone to guide me. It turned out I was very close. They’ve not been open long since major renovations so if I was to be ultra picky there’s still a clear up in the gardens to be done.
