Wonderful place to stay with exceptional hosts

The Host Debbie made us feel so welcome from the first hello to the last good bye. We arrived early in the morning and requested an early check in. The room was ready at Mary Poppins speed and we were able to check in. The house was peaceful, quiet and very clean. Breakfast was prebooked the night before and on arrival in the breakfast room we were met with warm smiles, exceptional service , we didn't have to wait long before our breakfast was served. Debbie was coming in and interacting with all her guests during breakfast whilst ensuring that any empty tables were reset and ready for the next guests. We were really impressed and would recommend the guest house to anyone. This was home away from home. The only thing l didn't like was that our stay wasn't long enough and we forgot to ask Debbie's staff members name because they are an exceptional team Working together like sychronised swimmers ensuring we were well looked after.

breakfast beautifully cooked, the single room while compact was comfortable, pleasantly proportioned, well stocked and immaculate, the host friendly, welcoming and available.

Wonderful. We could not asked for better. Our room, the whole house was impeccably presented, as are the grounds. We had a superb breakfast, catering for coeliac as well. Deborah was extremely kind and helpful (she even chilled a bottle of fizz for us). Only that we didn't plan to stay longer.

Exceptional

The guest house was in a great quiet location with plenty of parking. The host, Debbie was lovely and helpful. It was a quiet room and we had a great sleep. The decor was a bit dated but that’s just personal choice.

We were made to feel very welcome , even brought my daughter an Easter egg for Easter Sunday. Accommodation was lovely and clean Breakfast were beautiful Deborah was vey knowledgeable with the surrounding areas gave us advise on where to go N/A

Convenient location, clean. Everything was perfect.

Warm welcome from Deborah and her staff, who chatted to us each morning at breakfast and took an interest in our plans for the day, keen to give us advice and suggestions. This property is quiet and peaceful, but very easy to reach and has ample parking for all guests, even when fully-booked, as it was during our stay over Easter. Highly recommend this property, which is spotlessly clean and we will certainly return next time we visit this beautiful part of the country.

Pleasant and quiet location. Friendly staff. Although rather small, the room had everything needed. Excellent breakfast. Good parking. Small television!

Deborah, the host, was delightful, helpful and gracious. Breakfast was a fantastic full English meal. Very pleasant stay. The room was a bit small.

Beautiful setting and house, lovely rooms and decorating, and best of all-the most wonderful hostess you could ask for—Deborah is such a sweet woman and took the best care of us in all that she did. We really appreciated everything she did to make us comfortable, even giving us an earlier than usual breakfast so we could leave early, and doing our dirty clothes was an added, unexpected help we were very grateful for-would recommend to anyone, anytime.

Superb

I liked most things about the property and the host was excellent. Very friendly and the very nice lady who served at breakfast was also excellent The heating. This is on for just a short time.
