Crown Lodge

Beautiful building overlooking the sea. Owners were fantastic to us, picked us up a the train station and helped us out at the end when we hadn’t planned adequately. Breakfasts were wonderful and made to order. The view from our window was spectacular. The grounds were beautiful with lots of flowers. Steep walk into town. That normally would have been fine but one of our group had an injured foot so it was a challenge.

Golf was great but woudl not stay in Harlech again dining options are too limited

Central location for visiting north and mid Wales. WONDERFUL views and an awesome beach with huge sand dunes nearby. The room was very big and very comfortable! Nothing! To me the property was fantastic!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Crown Lodge! The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The view from the property is truly stunning, providing a perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. Each morning started with a delightful breakfast. On top of that, the owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend this place.

The location looking out over the dunes and sea towards the Llyn Peninsula is outstanding. The sunsets are glorious. All the rooms are tastefully decorated. Everything is to a high standard.

The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful throughout our stay, checking that we were happy, what plans we had, providing local knowledge and directions as well as catering for my vegan dietary preferences at very short notice. The room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable! Parking and accessibility was great and the lobby area with the beautiful fireplace made things especially cosy. The only thing I would change here was that the cold tap in the bathroom only seemed to give warm or sometimes hot water. I completely understand this was hooked up to the water pump for the rest of the room/house and it really didn't cause any issues (just a bit weird brushing teeth with hot water :) )

Breakfast very good. A little sparse with the fruit selection, but the full cooked breakfast was excellent. This is a beautiful and characterful building, and the views out over the bay and beach are stunning. The only issue was that the property was quite cold at times. It is a large, old building, with big rooms, and windows to match, and my sympathies are with the owners, it must be very expensive to heat in very cold weather. To be fair, extra heating was available in the shape of a fan heater in the bedrooms
