Nice place

We got locked out of our room 3 times in one day because the room card was not working. When my husband went down the second time the front desk person told him he had to be more careful because they were running low on new card keys. The front desk person came up and checked twice to make sure the card keys did not work and then he plugged in a phone charger to charge the door in order for the card key to work and open the door. This morning we went down for breakfast and went back to our room and once again could not get in. Same phone charger charged the lock but the front desk person stayed in our room for about 30 minutes charging the lock and we couldn’t get showered or anything because he was charging the lock on the door. They gave us 2 bottles of water for the inconvenience. Ridiculous

The 2 guys that check me in where awesome just wish there was better communication. I didn't like the fact the paint was peeling in the bathroom then bedding did not fit the bed the pool was not maintained the pressboard with a wood veneer finish was peeling and someone used black electric tape to try to fix it which failed for obvious reasons there was a mix up with my stay they told me I had 2 night even after I told them I only got it for one night they reassured me I had the room for two nights i leave in the afternoon then come back to find i was locked out of the room go to front desk and get told I only had one night even tho I was told the night before that I did get it for 2 night

Pleasant

The paint was peeling all over the bathroom ceiling, desk chair was broken, there was no extra toilet paper in the bathroom, there was no hand soap in the entire hotel and the staff was rude when explaining the desk chair was broken and peeling paint.

Breakfast was hot. Pool was warm.

Well homeless people cracked out in the back near the back door was definitely a problem for me. After getting in the room “incidental” fee was a $200 hold for 5-7 days was outrageous. The bed was comfortable, the hotel was clean and quiet so that was good. The breakfast was less than the typical for the “free breakfast”. Basically a bowl of cereal. You hat being said. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable bed. Ok for a one night stay and move on.

Great location decent price The room very clearly was not swept. Hair was all over the bathroom floor. Beds were caved in like some 400 lb person laid there for years. The front desk kid was apathetic and slow. Bar soap for had washing in each room had to be asked for at the front desk.

Complete stay was fantastic

Poor plastic breakfast - no healthy options
-
The breakfast was a little bit shy of standards. The front desk staff needed to engage a little bit more with their introduction. Such as volunteer the Wi-Fi password explain that breakfast is in the morning just be a bit more welcoming.

There's a reason we return to this hotel every year on our way to Vermont. I made a total of six reservations for the trip. The manager at Best Western Plus Harrisonburg was the only person to follow up with a special request I listed when making reservations. We weren't able to stay for breakfast this time, but we've enjoyed it in the past. It is a very clean hotel, and we already look forward to staying with them again in 2027.

Clean room, large tv. AC never really got cold.

I am a short person. The beds were too high! Step stool in room, but was afraid to fall when using it. No table in room.
-
Overall a good hotel. Not the top Best Western Plus I've stayed in. Breakfast was pretty skimpy. The keurig coffee maker in my room was broken.

Location was great. Easy to find. Breakfast---MEH. COULD HAVE OFFERED A SLECTION OF FRUIT. NO REGULAR COFFEE, ONLY DECAF? I am a short person. The beds were too high! Step stool in room, but was afraid to fall when using it. No table in room.
