Air-conditioning in the bedroom was extremely loud , but had to be run otherwise the room was too hot. We had a hard time sleeping between the noise and uncomfortable bed. The room itself was nice as well as the bathroom as far as updates.

Great location; huge rooms and loved that it was 3 floors so everyone had privacy. The AC was very loud but not s loud as some of the cars racing down Main Street.

Close to people’s bank arena Not great value for the money. Lousy breakfast…wife got diarrhea after breakfast quiche…could not be anything else!!!

There was construction going on for hotel upgrades, so, during the day you could hear pounding and construction noise.

Stay was comfortable and close to location of event we were down for. Hotel felt very secure since you need a card to even enter the buildng. The staff was super friendly and informative. If someone slipped into the building, nothing stopped them from going to the room floors. Maybe make the key scanner in the elevator needs to be used to get the elevator to select a floor?

Every staff person we encountered was so friendly, polite and helpful. Really the saving grace! Front desk staff was lovely, housekeeping obliging and the parking lot attendant was particularly gracious and welcoming. The exterior of the building is beautiful and appears to be a nicely restored historic spot The hotel was very shabby. It was clearly communicated that there was construction ongoing but that does not account for ripped curtains, buckled and thread bare carpeting and bath towels, ac that did not seem to cool, a refrigerator that did not work and stains on walls and surfaces in the bathroom. Don't get me wrong, it was clean, but for the price paid I would have expected a bit more polished appearance. There were also horrible smells in every area of the hotel. Our room smelled like spoiled food, perhaps from something that had been stored in the non-working fridge (that lit up and seemed to work fine until you pulled your drink out of it and found it to be warm).

The one positive was the large room size, feels like a one bedroom apartment. However, the main room TV was broken, the kitchen sink hot water was producing brown sludge, carpeting was bunched and bubbles in areas, and the parking pass stopped working halfway through our stay. Wanted to love it given the room size, but just too many things falling apart around us.

Room was clean and bad good amenities. Parking on top of stay was a bit excessive but it's mid city so it's understandable. Staff was excellent and very friendly. Breakfast was fine.

The front desk agent that assisted me was fantastic, that level of kindness was very refreshing. Unfortunately I didn’t catch her name, but she made my day!

the staff was very nice and welcoming. breakfast was delicious and the rooms were very spacious. We stayed across the street from the arena where we were seeing a show it was the perfect walk I didnt like that they charged me an additional 100$ on top of what i had already booked. The front desk said thats only because its friday they always do this on the weekend so be aware if your paying for a 300$ room you will get charged an additional 100 because its friday saturday or sunday

My daughter and I stayed at Residence Inn while attending the Cardi B concert (4/3/2026) The room (a loft) was more like a small, cute apartment! We loved it! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The best part, the breakfast! They had an awesome selection of breakfast foods, fresh fruit and beverages. If I’m ever in Hartford again, I would 100% stay here again.
