Charles Cotton Hotel

Central to the village, the staff were great and the breakfast was lovely. Dirty bathrooms and very vert tired. In need of a complete overhaul.

Location Wifi doesn’t reach 3 of the rooms we’ve stayed in - both visits no ho hot water - staff notified first not bothered

The bedroom we were given was huge and clean Stayed just one night to include bed and breakfast but on going down for breakfast at 9.15 the kitchen was closed and no staff present at all was very alarming so left keys and departed without the two breakfast we had purchased

Staff very friendly, helpful and hardworking Gorgeous location. Ideal for hiking Yummy food. Had a lovely byiani...huge portions. Would definitely stay again Furniture basic but very clean Unable to open windows therefore very hot but there was a heatwave so can't complain

Location Very tired decorative wise. Bedroom poor furniture and doors. Dirty towels were still hanging on bathroom door when I arrived mentioned it and they asked if they needed to be taken away straight away I said could wait until morning but still there when I checked out. Rang the visitor bell when checking out but no one came .

Location was pleasant Rooms were filthy dirty mold on pillows spiders everywhere toilet in one room leaking onto floor

The beds were extremely comfortable Never told us breakfast was a 1 hour slot. Went down at 9.40. They are only 8.30-9.30 Room and as not clean at all. An inch of dust on the skirting boards. We decided against a shower . All furniture grubby/ scratched/ paint falling off

Indian food option was a nice surprise. Room large and large comfortable bed. Lack of choice at breakfast e.g cereal, fruit, yoghurt- only offered full english .

Great location ,staff very helpful comfortable clean bed and towels Just needs updating fresh lick of paint good deep clean and furniture in bedrooms has seen better days .. some of the food was lovely (tandoori mix grill lovely )chicken tikka masala not the best . Would not recommend the pizzas for the price at all or the fish and chips .

Good location, parking, comfortable beds. Had to wait for a room to be ready. Rooms not very clean, and felt damp, bathroom tired. Our stay was to include breakfast but on Saturday morning the hotel was deserted, so no breakfast, no reason, no apologies.

Our booking got cancelled the morning of our stay. However they said we could stay for one night instead of three so we did as we had nowhere else. The cleanliness of the room was awful, there was toothpaste all over the sink, nothing had been wiped down and bins were still full from previous guests. Would not stay here again.

Quiet location, the staff were very nice and we had a great nights sleep. Good location for us as we had an event on nearby. N/A
