Hampton Inn & Suites Las Vegas-Henderson

The room was decent in comparison to other hotels I have stayed at in Las Vegas. It served it's purpose.

Clean room, great amenities and prime location. Near every store you ever shopped at and a giant mall, all located just few blocks away.

Breakfast time the lady's was verry nice with the guests. Thank you

They had a cooler with complimentary water bottles that were so Ice cold . It was nice coming in from a hot day shopping and being able to grab one to cool down, and stay hydrated . As well as having yummy chocolate chip cookies out at the lobby. Customer service was too tier . The beds were super comfortable. The pool was perfect temp and refreshing after a day out - the hot tub was perfect. I’d recommend this place over and over . When we come down again this is where we will continue to stay.

The air conditioning didn’t work all night.

Shower was not working, there was no lever to change from tub water to shower, and only attempt to remedy was for us to shower in another room

Loved the place and would come again. Was surprised by the parking charge though. Never seen that before. Only $5 per vehicle per day however.

Likes: Staff were kind, helpful, and courteous to us. Buffet breakfast was very good and convenient. Hotel was near city shopping and restaurants. Dislikes: Poor maintenance of the elevator, which was shaking/jerking with every ride and it was reported to Hotel staff to consider it for repair. The swimming pool was very hot in 109°F to 111°F summer weather, and my children could not swim. Other guests complained about the swimming pool as well. The Hotel should reconsider having a shaded pool site covering like other indoor swimming pools to prevent hot pool or guest skin burn from hot swimming pool water. Also, room 221 air conditioning system was working, but it made loud noise like a loud old generator that needs a repair and it was difficult to fall asleep (sleep interruption). This air conditioning system issue was reported to Hotel staff for review and repair. Also, the Television "channels and program title is unavailable" in room 221 which staff could not fix after we reported the issue to them. As a guest in this Hampton Inn and Suites location, my family and I felt that the hotel management are not serious about maintaining the Hotel and its equipment or don't care/prioritize hotel guest safety, comfort, and Hotel stay satisfaction of their guests. This Hotel location needs to revisit their Hotel maintenance practices to promote hotel guest safety, comfort, and satisfaction for money worth hotel reservation.

The pool was not clean and grossed us out. The room was mostly clean but had random tissues on the floor. The pull out bed was uncomfortable.

It was a hot day in Henderson, once walk in this hotel they have free ice water waiting.
