Atagawaonsen Blue Ocean

The hotel is big but very very outdated! The room has nice ocean front view. No restaurant facility. The hotel is very old and requires an absolute revamp. No one was there on our stay almost felt like we're staying at some scary hotel. never seen a cleaner or any hotel workers but for one in the reception. Very creepy stay for us coz it's very quiet & still.

Building is showing its age, but is still serviceable. No breakfast available.

The staff were super helpful, kind, and overall amazing. The views from the room were spectacular. We stayed in the Japanese style room. The futons were so comfortable! The private onsen was great! Great value for money. The rooms were a bit outdated. A few things needed to be fixed like a few ripped shoji screen panels, a tiny spot of flooring was coming off by the shower area. Nothing major.

Location, right on the sea front. Staff, nice and helpful. The hotel is in need of refurbishment, for sure. But it was plenty good enough as a place to chill and crash out.

We love the big door and balcony looking out to the ocean. The room is very spacious with everything we need for our 3 nights stay. Our room has a bathtub, a sink and a toilet. The staffs are very friendly and courteous. The onsen on the 9th floor overlooking the ocean, has both indoor and outdoor onsen which are both great. We didn’t have any issue with the ocean noise at all. It’s pretty quiet once we close the window. We love everything about this place and would definitely come back someday. There’s nothing to complain about.

Far from people, quiet and peaceful, with a beautiful view. In the morning, you can enjoy watching the sunrise.There are onsens both indoors and open-air. and Free parking The staff forgot to make the bed, so I had to move the table and ma.ke the bed myself,The parking area is a bit dimly lit, making it feel scary at night.

The location was amazing, you have to walk a bit to the hotel but it's worth it in the end. The spa was also very nice, I have been to dozens of "onsen" and had never seen one with tatami mats! The room had a wonderful view, room service was nice, and the price was decent too. Everyone one of my family loved their stay. The hotel is NOT new, it's quite a few years old and so it's not as clean as a new one. I wouldn't consider this very bad though, it's clean enough, just old-ish.

I really enjoyed the ocean view. I managed to catch both sunset and sunrise. It was a warm winter day (around 16c) which allowed me to sleep with the ocean noises but no insects. I turned off the hearing and cracked a window open, but closed the shōji too keep the wind away. It was very cheap. Futon was warm and comfortable. This place really needs renovations. Specially the public bath area. Room also needs renovations but it was clean. My stay was very cheap so I feel like it is ok.

Balcony listed but did not exist. Corridor Christmas music too loud and disrupted sleep.

The local is amazing and the staff is friendly. The rooms are not renovated and there are not beds (only Japanese futons)

View The hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. Ghe windows needs to be replaced asthey fog up and you can't see the ocean. The carpets are worn.

The view from the room is amazing. Room size is quite big. Public bath was clean and spacious. Breakfast and dinner buffet was good. Many, vegetarian, vegan and halal options! Toilet ventilation did not work. Another room's toilet took a long time to fill water.

The window was dirty from the outside, maybe they were wiped with dirty towels. The tv (battery was old) so couldn't use it as I went with kids and air-condition didn't work properly so we didn't switch it on at all, they had a humidifier so it saved us.

buffet breakfast with a good variety of food to choose from we arrived late at 2230 due to bad weather, staff were very friendly and helpful despite front desk closed already facilities a little dated, price a bit high
