Super 8 by Wyndham High Point/Greensboro

We were checked in to a room that was never cleaned. Boxes on dresser from pizza, garbage cans not emptied, bathroom dirty. Went back downstairs to get another room. Had to wait for them to clean room.

Arrived for check in and was told sorry there are no rooms. You don’t have a reservation anymore . Rooms went into maintenance so we don’t have a room for you . After an argument about how could they do that when I clearly had a reservation and showed them the confirmation. He just said sorry I don’t work much so I don’t know . Then I said I needed something. He brought me to a room that was in maintenance.. it smelled so musty and moldy there were no blankets and no pillows and no towels. The walls were dirty . All around TERRIBLE experience. I do not recommend.

They try and scam you out your deposit the rooms where I ichy and they refuse to give you a,nother room because the one u got first was ichy on the beds and the couch is moldy . The service at front seat terreble

The location was good. The staff was friendly. The bed sheets had a small fresh looking blood stain and the pillow cases were dirty when we arrived. The sheet was very wrinkled, like it had been slept in before. We asked for new pillowcases and got them. Made do with the sheets. The maid service was random. One day clean folded towels, no bed made, another day nothing, another day bed made but no clean towels. The floors were not swept or mopped in the bathroom during our 4 night stay. (Same dirt specks there all week.) The giant spa tub definitely showed its age. We did not use the tub except to shower. Not sure it even worked. Breakfast was fair. Waffle batter ran out or was too watery or too thick. Counters dirty with batter. OJ was empty one morning. Tongs missing on danish tray one morning. Basically no one there to monitor the area. No fresh fruit. We added a fifth day (separate booking) and let the desk know. When we checked in for that day, they asked if we wanted the same room or a different one. We said same. Went in and same blood stain on sheet and water glasses we used were not replaced (by ice bucket) and dirt still on bathroom floor. At least we knew who slept in the bed the last 4 nights! ;-) At least the bed was comfortable! I really think they were short staffed as we always saw the same very polite woman at the desk morning and night!

$75;pet fee for a $85 room. No hot water in the morning. Clerk was wonderful.

Facility need bathroom upgrades.

Room was updated and spacious, need was comfortable. Liked the walk in shower. The breakfast was very limited in the choices. No attendant either. Counters were messy and the waffle batter ran out. The hot water in the shower was non existent and the shower head could use replacing.
