Wingate by Wyndham High Point/Greensboro/Airport South

The room was outdated and a little dirty. They did not offer airport transportation unless you booked 24 hours in advance. I had to rent an Uber there and back to the airport to get a rental car. If you need something quick for a short period of time okay but for a long stay it would be a no for me.

For the price you did get breakfast and a room with a TV and bed. But the hotel itself is very rundown and shabby with cracked tiles. Air conditioner was leaking. The place really looks like it’s been let go.

Clean linens, but there was still hair in the shower, the jacuzzi felt like you were going to fall through it when you were standing in the shower, and the external part of the jacuzzi where it covers the motor was falling off of the tub/wall. The shower wall (plaster) was falling apart, and it was questionable as to if we would find used needles on the carpet based off of the feel of the hotel. Anywhere we went, we were eyed like we were going to get mugged, and we weren't even dressed fancy.

Doors in my room were a bit out of shape and some had cracks or gaps allows me to see outside. Weird. Overall good

Jacuzzi tub was on shaky ground. Floor may be rotted underneath.

This is my go-to place in Greensboro. I love a boutique hotel. Every room has a fireplace and a tub for two! There is a great assortment of restaurants within 200 yards. There is no need to drive.

I have always liked the property, yet this time the cleanliness was not good My room was never cleaned even after I asked for housekeeping service

The room was spacious and tv channel selection. Jacuzzi not working in rooms. Bathroom was closed/seal to watch tv from tub. The mandate to be not be able to leave the breakfast area with food and selection of food during various days. Pool only goes to 4ft and not warmed.

Staff was nice

The carpet need a good cleaning and if the rooms are not remodeled completely not use them.
