Hikka FnR Villa

Near the sea. Rooms are big. Facilities are good. The pool needs to be a little bit cleaner. I liked the boy who served us from hoise housekeeping. His name is Amila. Very helpful and nice fellow.

On the beach

The place could be amazing but it wasn't. Im not sure what was renovated but we couldnt tell. The pool was green, very green. No blue sparkling pool like in the picture. They blamed it on the rain but it had to have been that way for some time. I have a pool and it does not look like that when it rains. There was a nice pool table but the pool cues had no tips. Things just were not very clean or well kept generally. . We got 2 rooms. One with a balcony. The other one no balcony. They one without the balcony they initially gave us smelled so musty it was hard to breath without choking. It was enclosed with just a stationary window on the hall. We asked it be changed and they said no more rooms but they'd do so the next day. They ended up changing it that night thankfully. That room seemed fairly nice. The bathroom had an open shower but the floor didn't seem to be graded properly so the floor got wet all the way to the door. As for the balcony room, it was not clean. The shower didn't work properly and there was no hot water. The shower door was hard to close and the inside and outside caulking had lots of mold. They tried to fix the shower the first day and it appeared to work but it was short lived and stopped working after they left. My husband took quick, cold showers with the handheld that could not be put up because the holder was broken off. I showered in the other room which had hot water. The curtain to the balcony door was way too short so light shown in. Luckily I had an eye mask to wear. We were told a longer one was on order. We smelled an odor in the room near the top of the bed. When laying down we noticed it and thought it was dirty sheets. We asked for clean ones. What we got was 2 folded top sheets that were apparently cleaned but didn't really smell clean, had holes and didnt really fit the bed. After putting them on we still smelled the odor. It was the mattress. Someone may have vomited on it was our thought.

Our stay at this hotel was fantastic from start to finish. The location is perfect, just steps from the beach, and the rooms were spotless and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome – even surprising us with thoughtful gifts during our stay. Their warm hospitality truly made the experience special. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed at Hikka Sands & SPA for B&B, and it was absolutely superb—exceeded all our expectations! The hotel is now under new management and currently being renovated, and you can really see the improvements. Everything was spotless and well-maintained.

Everything is okay, specially the kind reception guy who helped us to organize our next destinations. Nice location with sun loungers.

Property is in a good location, super friendly staff, especially Buddika who always checked if I was okay. They have a great access to the beach and a nice pool with lounges for viewing the sunset. The room did have a musty smell which was not too bad.

Stunning boutique hotel that used to be a manor house. Beautiful wooden staircase and floors and our suite had a high wooden ceiling. It was an absolute pleasure staying here, huge room, closed shower, TV, lots of storage space, dressing table and sitting areas with sun loungers on the huge balcony overlooking the pool and sea. People are so lovely and smiley and always rushing to assist you all the time. The pool area is gorgeous, so calm with tall palm trees and directly on the beach. The location was right next to turtle beach, a short walk to the corals for snorkeling and all the restaurants, shops and bars around. Breakfast was delicious and so much of it with coffee, pancakes, eggs, toast, fresh fruit juice and fruit salad. It was our honeymoon and the lovely Buddhika had placed petals with word love and heart pillows on our bed and it was so thoughtful and lovely. It has been an absolute pleasure staying here and I wish we could stay more. A definite 10/10 and I truly recommend you all staying here! Absolutely nothing

Near the beach. Beachside is wonderful Close to a lot of restaurants The rooms are old and not well maintained. We arrived at 14.00 and till 15.00 one of the 2 rooms we had was not ready. The towels arrived 1 hour after the check in The air condition broke in one of the rooms at night and the 2nd room did not have electricity from evening to morning The rooms smell. Breakfast was basic and not well prepared. Not very cool. I would never stay if I knew before hand

Exceptional

Location- just at the ocean's shore, views, breakfasts. The hotel wasn't crowded (always free sunbeds). A terrace in front of the room isn't private so we needed to keep our curtains closed in order to keep privacy (no sea view from the room, only from the shared terrace).
