Appolo Hotel

The cleaners did an incredible job - the bin outside our door was emptied on an almost hourly basis, and they were constantly sweeping and tidying the balcony area. The hotel is right on the beach, which can be reached by walking down through the adjoining restaurant. We felt slightly self conscious walking through the restaurant to reach the beach as it was a bit of a squeeze, but it wasn't too bad. It's on the very busy coastal road, so if you're a light sleeper you'll want some earplugs, but we knew this was the case so it wasn't a surprise.

The flush in the toilet wasn't flushing properly.. Needed to be doubled

The facility was in the beach front. Nice touristy area. Basic facilities in the room. I assume that is what offered for the price. Lighting was limited.

Nice basic hotel, centrally located, just in front of the beach. Downstairs there is a lovely restaurant,where you can sit with your feet in the sand. The lanlady a very sweet woman My room had a window that it could be not open, perhaps not all the rooms are the same, anyway,for the price I paid,It has been an excellent and clean location.

I recently stayed at Hotel Apollo and had an amazing experience. As a solo traveler, I was looking for a comfortable and welcoming place, and this hotel definitely delivered. The double room I booked was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. All good

The property is on the beach with a perfect location for everything you need in Hikkaduwa. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The staff are very nice and we really appreciated all the good talks with them. The restaurant connected to the hotel is also really good, with proper italian cuisine. (Try the pizza, trust me) Nothing

I recently stayed at Hotel Apollo and had a pleasant experience. The location is ideal, offering easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making check-in smooth and providing helpful recommendations for things to do during my stay. Nothing all was good

Beach location. Lovely staff. Fridge in room. Turtles laying eggs right beside the hotel. Power cuts - not the hotel’s fault but maybe they need to invest in a generator.

The Hotel is at a great location and is actually much nicer than on the pictures. Local owner and staff are super friendly too. A home away from home

Very peaceful and clean place, the staff was friendly and helpful. They didn’t serve breakfast, but there was plenty of nice breakfastplaces just around the corner. Great location!

The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and efficient. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. Worth for the money and the location was absolutely perfect within walking distance to the beach. Simply love it!

Location superb and we had the apartment with its own large terrace with sun beds and overlooking the beach. The hotel was obviously preparing for the season so quite a lot of maintenance being done.

Amazing place! The view is gorgeous, the panoramic window overlooking the ocean is just a dream. We were received very warmly, they were always in touch, but at the same time no one bothered us during our vacation. We were very comfortable, thank you very much! We will come again with great pleasure! -

Location was great and the owner Ms. Nimi was a wonderful host. Me and my family had a safe and comfortable stay. Highly recommended.
