Hotel Blue Note

We had rented an extra night before our arrival to be able to access the room on arrival at 6am. We had corresponded with the hotel who assured us this was fine. When we arrived everything was closed and there was no one to greet us.

Breakfast was delicious! While looking at the sea, getting the breakfast was truly amazing!

Their coridor was too dark.. They turned their all lights before 10 pm..

Sheets with holes, unfriendly stuff. The vacation was almost spoiled. You pay for the sea view - you get the garden view, construction works at the property, non-working locks at the doors, slow internet. They close the front door at 8 pm and you should find the "entrance" between walls with no light.

It was very comfortable and clean. They only accept cash which is annoying they do not tell you advance. The TV did not work which is the only reason I paid for that room. The room had alot of ants in it.

Room was very spacious and clean, breakfast was spot on, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the location is perfect, after going for a walk to the other side of hikkadauwa beach I realised I'd picked the perfect hotel at the quieter end ? turtles everywhere ?? loved it and would highly recommend Nothing

Lovely big room with air conditioning

Location is really good They didn’t provide the room that we booked. Although they had enough available rooms cause we saw it. Because we are locals they treat us differently that what the are doing.

Staff is great... and location is great on the beach. Ok breakfast. Parking for our TukTuk's. It's potentially a great place but there are many small things which need attension. In showers no shampoo or shower gel. Towels missing. Contsruction going on, so it's quite messy!

My clients were not happy with this choice as it looks like it is under renovation! Only suitable for surfers at this stage. Such a shame as it has potential and a great location. Unfinished renovation site. Broken paths ect.

Hotel Blue Note has a great location directly to the beach The room is full of aints, no hot water at night and morning time because it is a solar powered heater which is ridiculous, the bathroom smells like humidity, no shampoo, no shower gel, no coffee, no water, no room cleaning unless u ask for it. It isn't worth the money, very expensive compared to the value of money. One more thing to add they only accept cash, which is also ridiculous these days.

Location was good. Air conditioning in the room worked great. Buildings were all concrete which made the WiFi hard to get, especially in the rooms. I arrived after 4 pm and my room wasn’t ready for another 15-20 minutes. I was shown my room as the maid was leaving it and was told it was clean. I immediately went into the bathroom and saw a big hairball on the floor. There was another one on the wall in the shower. The maid was still in the hall so I asked her to clean it and she did. Not a good way to start.
