Perfect location! Right on the beach. Had a sea-view room (only two of them). A previous visitor/reviewer suggested the room on the third floor, and we got it! From the balcony you can watch the turtles come up from the sea in the nights to lay their eggs in the sand. Wonderful experience. Great host and nice staff. Fridge in the room, important. WI-FI worked very well in both the room and common areas, even more important. Food really great. We would definitely stay here again. Actually cannot wait! Nothing, really. You will get used to the wave "noise", or? At least you cannot hear any traffic noise. Not a very swimming friendly beach, however, there is a nice lagoon about 100 meters north. Note that this is a surfer's paradise.

Excellent value for money,by far the cleanest place I stayed in on my month in Sr Lanka.If you can,get one of the 2 sea facing rooms with balcony then do so??Food was great and the management were extremely good people.Very well appointed room with grt views,hot water,very comfy bed and a fridge,all for $35 a night. Restaurant really needs some fans,it could get really hot.

Fantastic. Includes a well priced, popular cafe on the beachfront with great swimming and good vibes. Room had big comfy beds with mosquito nets and a really nice feel. Good location and family run with good attention to detail (though presented as really laid back). One of my favourite places during our 2 month Asia trip.. it’s good! Internet didn’t work in our room but was fine downstairs at the cafe. The rooms toward the beachfront (above the cafe) are probably fine. We were at the other end toward the street. Note that this hotel is in the “noisy” area of hikkiduwa so you may hear the bar a few doors up throughout the night. We didn’t care - it wasn’t overly intrusive, just background noise :)

The location right next to the beach. In our seaview room we could hear and see the waves from the bed! The food in the restaurant was also great.

Situated right at the beach. Nice staff and owner. Good food - many westerners came there to eat. Room description at booking.com said balcony w seaview. There was an shared space with some seaview. (There are 95% russians at Hikkadua beach - has nothing to do with the guest house)

The room was fantastic, offering everything we could ask for. It was clean and comfortable, but the highlight was the beautiful sea view right from our window. Waking up to the sound of the waves and seeing the horizon made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway! Everything was perfect

Everything was absolutely awesome. The location with stunning view and breathtaking sunsets. Food and drinks in restaurant also perfect. I was so sad that I have to leave. Because of this stay and people I definitely need to visit this place again! Best snorkeling reef nearby, a lot of bars and restaurants… ❤️

It’s a lovely family run hotel. The room was not fancy but it was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. Everyone is friendly. There’s lots of loungers on the beach. The beach directly in front is too rough for swimming or snorkelling. It’d be perfect if you’re a surfer- but if you want to swim it’s a little bit of a walk past turtle beach to the swimming area. And then if you walk a bit further, there’s a beautiful reef to snorkel at. I think this was my favourite out of all the hotels that I stayed at in Sri Lanka.
