Thambili cabanas

Thambili Cabanas is a beautifully maintained place with a lovely garden full of flowers and friendly dogs, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owner is very professional, and the staff are kind, attentive, and always helpful. The welcome was truly amazing. Being served fresh coconut water as a welcome drink was both beautiful and refreshing, setting the tone for the stay. The place is extremely peaceful and ideal for yoga. They have dedicated yoga rooms and provide yoga mats, which makes it perfect for anyone looking to relax and unwind. They do not serve breakfast at the property, but this was not an issue as there are many good places to eat nearby. They also have their own beach cafe, Thambili Cafe, which is another beautiful spot with a relaxing beachside setup and delicious food. The cafe is only about a 5 minute walk from the cabanas. Overall, it is a calm, well-managed place that I would highly recommend for a peaceful getaway. No hot water shower

Kasun was fabulous we were welcomed with a big smile and a fresh coconut he looked after us so well we didn’t want to leave In fact we left twice to travel around the area but came back to Thambili as it was so much nicer we will definitely return.

Very nice and big room with good AC.. We were on the groundfloor, just a step into a fantastic garden. A staffmember made gardening with great care. Close to the beach and if you prefer pool there is one as well. Nice, calm feeling over the hole place, because of the garden and the nice staff. I will really recommend a stay.

This is a beautiful place. Really peaceful and cared for. The yoga shala is just lovely and the gardens are gorgeous. The cafe on the beach is perfect. Fresh food and juices with sun loungers and some tables right on the sand. The staff are so kind, I'm leaving with new friends ? Nothing. You do hear the train passing occasionally, but you stop noticing it quickly.

Rooms are large and very clean. The swimming pool is a good size. The place is very quiet, well maintained and staff is friendly. There are two lovely dogs that roam the premises. Laundry service is available. Our room was next to the staff quarters and they were sometimes noisy early in the morning. Also the building of our room was 10m from the railroad and trains pass by regularly. So make sure you get one of the cabanas more towards the front of the property. No food or drinks are available but a small supermarket is a 5 min walk.

Lovely pool area with lots of plants, comfortable sunbeds. Amazing balcony with sea view. Comfortable bed. Location between busy road and train tracks made it a little noisy. Also had to walk along the busy road to get anywhere.

It has a serenity feeling to the place. Pool are is beautiful. Probably good place for yoga groups. Nice garden area. The dogs that live there bark and woke me up in the morning. Train goes by very close to room and can wake you up. Windows let in every noise. Pool area is to crowded with plants and feels to enclosed.
