Villa Goodwill Paradise

Excellent value for money. Good location with a short walk to the beach and all the amenities close by. Friendly and helpful staff. Nothing to complain about. It had everything you would expect at that price.

I left my silver Gucci necklace yesterday, I know exactly where I left it and stupidly forgot it. After contacting the property I’ve been told it’s not been found. Feel extremely upset this was a very important gift I’ve had for 12 years. The customer service I received from the property is appalling, I’ve asked for the owner to contact me and received no call. I had 2 guests come stay with me which I paid for which the property are now trying to moan about. I will never stay here again! A matter of 24hrs and the staff here think it’s acceptable to steal guest’s belongings. This is totally ruined my holiday.

Lovely staff and refreshing pool. Room was good and has everything you need. Also a lovely and big breakfast is served at a nice price. All and all this was a great place to stay for a couple.days!

Very family-friendly hotel. The rooms were big and clean. Clean pool. Delicious breakfast with fresh fruit, eggs, and bread. Siri, the owner, and his staff were friendly and the service provided were way above our expectations. We highly recommend this place and would love to come back. Nothing.

Our best stay in Sri Lanka. If I ever come back, I would stay here. The staff and guests were so lovely, it felt like home.

The breakfast was excellent

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very clean and big room, comfortable bed, nice and big bathroom. And the terrace - wow - you really feel like in paradise while relaxing and listening to the birds singing. The place is located in the forest - very quiet and peaceful, but at the same time only 5 minutes walk to the nice beach. For the breakfast at Villa Goodwill, we had a chance to taste local food and it was fresh and tasty ? The owner and the staff are super nice and friendly. If we come back to Hikkaduwa, we will definitely stay here again.

- It was close to the beach - comfy bed - aircon + fan - clean - secure - the staff were really friendly and nothing is too much of an ask - we were given complimentary breakfast on new years day (not included in our booking) as it was Sri Lankan tradition and it was really nice! - Whilst it was clean, the single bed which we did not use had a fair bit of ants however this was the morning of us leaving although we may not have noticed earlier as it had a our backpacks on with all the packing cubes. - There is a dog that barks a lot but I don't think there's much to be done there.
