Spark By Hilton Hilton Head Island

Checked into this hotel, soon as I walked in the room something started biting my feet. The sliding glass door was unlocked and the room was on the 1st floor ground level. Other than that hotel looked fine. I did cancel my booking and was refunded.

MopThe property was well kept, the staff were helpful, breakfast was nutritional, but the juice was left sitting out, and it was room temperature which I would have preferred to be cold. The hotel had a $10 a day parking fee which I thought should have been free for the customers. The beach wasn't far, and the hotel did have a shuttle to transport customer's to the beach, but if you preferred to drive your own vehicle there was pay parking near the beach $3.35 during the week, and $5.35 on the weekend, but they close at 5 p.m, so be prepared if you're driving your vehicle and want to spend the day at the beach. It's a nice place, but if I could say anything to the management, it would be that an air vent installed in the bathroom would be a plus for this property. I would recommend this hotel, great place to go.

This was our first time staying at this hotel. We’ll be back! It’s an 8-minute walk to the ocean, and check-out is at 12:00—which is great.

Not what I would consider a 5 star property however this is a great value. Offers a nice complimentary breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

It was centrally located We haven’t traveled extensively, and the woman manning the check in desk was the most ignorant, rude, condescending employee we have ever encountered. That, and the initial rate of $399 burgeoning to $700, means we will never use booking.com or Spark by Hilton again, and we are Hilton Honors members.

Checked in during the recent worldwide Hilton system outage - poor receptionist was the only one on duty and needed help badly. When the system came back online around 10pm (and I guess after help finally showed up) they called the room to tell me to come down now to run the card, woke the kids up who were finally asleep after a long travel day. The system being down wasn't their fault but it was handled poorly. Would not stay there again.

Close enough to walk to the beach, staff was friendly AC was so loud it was tough to sleep.

We loved that the beach was a short, walk away and delicious restaurants were a short drive away. Breakfast was yummy. The pool was nice, too. Great staff! Customer service is so important.

Location and size of room for the money was great! Just a little "old" but the new touches helped a lot with that. Not sure there is much that could be done to change that.

Nice and clean rooms. Breakfast was just cereals, muffins, etc. Nothing hot. Truly a continental breakfast. Staff was very friendly.
