Nice and close to the promenade and boat hire area, good roof top bar, easy walk to main restaurants and bars , very pleasant staff and service, great breakfast. good laundry service, good valet service for the car which is needed because parking is very much compromised in the area. we found the hotel rooms a tad small compared to other hotels we have stayed in the same price range and even cheaper ... the dedicated beach area with lounges not as nice as some others .. and was a tad taken back by the young beach assistant questioning us as to whether we were " really staying in the hotel".. Mind you the main person servicing the beach area was very pleasant...

Modern, great views and great location No bad comments to share

Saint Nicolas is the place to stay in Himarë! The room was well-equipped and modern with really comfy beds. Breakfast was great - tons of options - and the hotel is one of the few in the area that has free sunbeds for use right on the beach. A definite bonus! The only downside was the pool - it's on the rooftop on the edge of the bar/restuarant. Not really a place to swim but the beach right outside of the hotel is great.

We stayed here for 3 days and then planned this to be our last stop thinking it would be the cherry on the top. We were wrong. Everywhere else we visited and stayed at in Albania had more charm and gave us better value. The only things that were good here were the comfy beds and that the AC worked. Other than that the hotel is barely a 3 star hotel. The room wasn’t cleaned adequately and not enough supplies were left in the room (e.g. the shampoo dispenser was not filled although it was taken out of its place and was left empty on the bathroom sink). The beach across from the hotel is not great either and smelled of sewage all the time. Breakfast was decent but the coffee machine was broken 2 out of the 3 days we were there and it was a process to get coffee from the barista there. Overall very disappointing hotel. Room cleanliness. Shower leaking. No cover sheet on the 3rd night. Shampoo dispenser was not filler and was left sitting on the bathroom sink. Coffee machine broke 2/3 days. Pool is tiny and kids are not allowed in it but it’s not advertised (it depends on the employees there to approve of kids in the pool or not). Many more issues.

The hotel is absolutely lovely! The rooms were immaculate and very nicely decorated. The staff were so friendly and helpful. It’s a perfect location on the beach. And the breakfast was the best we had in Albania!

Very clean and great location! Staff was very unclear with everything. It took our whole stay for them to collectively figure out how to book a taxi for us and when they did they had the wrong location. Also very hard to get water.

I think a few lounge beds on the pool deck I wish the espresso/cafe drinks were custom by the barista instead of the automatic machine. Sauna was broken

The property is definitely one of the nicest hotels in the area. Onsite parking was very convenient and having complimentary beach was great! The rooftop is gorgeous and you can walk right out the front door and be on the beach I wish there was fresh coffee in the morning and not coffee from a machine

The shower fluctuated between hot and cold which made taking a shower challenging. Beach facilities were close but limited number for the hotel.

I had an amazing stay at St. Nicolas Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with a personalized handwritten note waiting in our room—a small touch that really set the tone for the entire experience. The hotel itself is stunning. The rooms are modern, spotless, and beautifully designed, and the views over the crystal-clear bay are absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the turquoise water and enjoying sunsets from the terrace was unforgettable. The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options. Everything was delicious, from the pastries and fresh fruit to the hot dishes. The rooftop restaurant and pool were highlights of our stay. The atmosphere in the evening is elegant and relaxing, the food was outstanding (especially the sushi), the cocktails were excellent, and the service was attentive and professional throughout. Every member of the staff was friendly, helpful, and always happy to assist with anything we needed. You can tell they truly care about providing a memorable experience. If you’re visiting Himarë and looking for a luxury hotel with spectacular views, exceptional service, outstanding breakfast, and a peaceful atmosphere, I can’t recommend St. Nicolas Hotel enough. We will definitely be coming back! Top notch hotel. Everything was amazing.

Beautiful designs, architecture and amazing location on the water. And the staff is fantastic. Only complaint, very minor, was not having a bigger trash can in the room

Everything was exceptional!

The location was spot on, very easy access to the beach with sun beds and umbrellas from the hotel and close to restaurants. The upkeep of the hotel was in a bad condition for a new hotel,there was a hole in the ceiling of my bathroom, the staff were not flexible or helpful at all. It’s not a 5star hotel by any standard and the breakfast was underwrite say the least.The room took until later in the afternoon to be cleaned after requesting the reception a few times. The phone dint connect to the reception and the staff did nothing about it even after I complained.

A beautiful location - highly recommend a sea view room, what a glorious way to start and end the day.

Beautiful views, very comfortable, and a very nice beachfront. The complimentary breakfast coffee was dispensed from a self-service machine and was much lower quality than desired. Given the price point of the hotel I would have expected freshly prepared coffee instead.
