Aphrodite's Garden has a magnificent view. It's clean and comfortable. The breakfast is an excellent fresh buffet, including yogurt, fruit, croissants, eggs, waffles, etc. We didn't eat dinner at their restaurant, but clearly it's very good because it was packed (and quite a fashionable scene). It was rather expensive; Just a room was more expensive than the beautiful apartments my family had been staying in elsewhere. That said, the whole beach area appears to be much more expensive than other beautiful parts of Albania, and other people probably love the hip aspect of this hotel and restaurant. Also, a pool would be awesome considering it's about a 10-minute drive from the beach, and parking near the beach is expensive.

The owners were extremely welcoming and ready to help with any needs such As laundry, tips for excursions in the area, etc. The food at the restaurant was very good. They need more parking but it was not a big issue for us.

Spectacular views from deck off of room, and the restaurant. Excellent food.
-
Gorgeous place to stay! We had the best view of sunset at the restaurant. The room was very comfy too. Nothing

It has a calm and peaceful atmosphere, beautiful views, and is just a 4-minute drive from the beach.

Spyros, his family, and his staff do everything in their power to make your stay at this exceptional property an unforgettable experience. From the open-armed welcome to the excellent homemade breakfast to the unparalleled views, our stay here was a delight in every way. Nothing.

Not a thing

Beautiful view. Restaurant on site. EXCELLENT breakfast. Very kind staff. Lots of parking.

We stayed for three nights and loved it. We did not have a room with a view but the trade off was that we had a beautiful garden view of flowers and fruit trees. This is a family owned and run business- everyone was top notch and friendly- you felt as if you were at home. The room was ultra-clean upon arrival and cleaned daily. The evening and morning views perched up top of the hill, overlooking the town and sea on the front side of the hotel, were fantastic. Breakfasts were varied and plentiful and the IPA beer the best I’ve had since traveling in September. You are a walk to the castle and the ‘downtown’ beach area. I wouldn’t choose to stay anywhere else- why would you?

Literally everything. The breakfast, the staff, the rooms, the atmosphere! ZERO notes.
-
Amazing view, great outdoor areas. The rooms are absolutely alright, too. You should have a car or need to walk a while to get to the coast or the old town, however we didn’t mind that too much.

The view and staff

The breakfast with a view was a special experience - and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!
-
Good food, friendly staff, excellent views, quiet at night. Parking below required hauling bags up steep driveway; no assistance getting backs up steps to room; no fan or ventilation in shower/bathroom; no tea kettle or coffee maker in room.

The only comment is about the location. It is located higher up in Himare, so to go down to the beach/town you need a car.

We had a wonderful stay at Aphrodite Himarë! The location is perfect. The room was clean. The staff was kind, welcoming, and always helpful. One of the highlights was the delicious and generous breakfast every morning – fresh, tasty, and with a great variety. We also loved the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful sea view from the balcony. Highly recommended – we’d love to come back!

Amazing location and friendly staff. It overlooks the sea and mountains so its just as in the photos. Really convenient to have the restaurant right in the hotel. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Would definitely stay again. Nothing. All good.

We loved the view and our balcony overlooking the water and cute restaurant downstairs. We also loved the delicious restaurant below and ate there both nights we stayed here! A steep walk on a windy road down into town but we had a car so wasn’t a big deal for us! And chose to eat at the restaurant on site which I’d highly recommend!

It was the best cost-benefit we had in Albania. The room is comfortable, the location is good, and we could rest and relax, off to a good start for a road trip around the Albanian coast. I would have stayed an extra night if I had known we would enjoy it that much. And there were other nice beaches to explore nearby, but I preferred Sarande. Ksamil was also too busy and expensive. Himare's surroundings were better and less crowded, in my opinion. Gjipe is a must-see! The only issue is that the hotel restaurant had no vegetarian options for dinner. Luckily, the hotel next door (Persephone) had a few options. It should be added to the menu!

You have to walk through the parking lot of a neighboring hotel to get to it. Confusing at arrival.
