Daiwa Roynet Hotel Himeji

I love the staff, they are very kind and courteous. It’s our second stay at this Daiwa and our room preference wish was always honored. The hotel is in a central location with nice castle view from some of them rooms (the hotel kindly helped me with which category to book in order to get a room with the castle view, its generally the standard twin). Not all room categories face the castle so ask them before you book to avoid disappointment. They have a really nice bathtub. The room is spacious enough to open a suitcase and feel comfortable. They have coin laundry and vending machines on some of the floors. I like this hotel a lot, I think it’s a great value stay and also comfortable. If I would have to say 2 things that could further improve it that would be a little room renovation and maybe adding a bathhouse like some of the other Daiwa hotels.

We needed a place to crash for one night and see Himeji Castle. The place was conveniently located near the train station. We were able to store our luggage for several hours after we checked out. Everything was great; I have nothing bad to say about the hotel.

We were on the 12th floor with views of Himeji Castle and that made this room absolutely spectacular! Great breakfast and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very small.

The room was good, everyone of the family was happy with the stay. Beds are comfortable and the staffs are friendly and helpful.too

We had a fantastic view of Hemiji Castle from our room, thank you staff.? If you visit hemiji, stay at least two nights as we did. Its a great town with few foreign tourists. Pleasant change after kyoto and tokyo. It feels like real japan? The Castle was way beyond expectations. And the castle gardens we would rate no.2 in Japan, don't, don't miss it! Not staying longer.

Extremely close to the train station, less than 5 minute walk. 15-20 minute walk to Himeji Castle. Many shops and restaurants around the area. Castle view from room as well.

We really appreciated the top floor room with a view of Himeji castle. Duvet was too thick.

Convenient location, pleasant breakfast buffet. No compliants.

The location and we are repeat guests staying at the hotel every time when we are travening to Himeji. We booked 3 rooms with breakfast but the place is too small and too crowded to wait for the breakfast so all of us missed it.

Clean and tidy and right next to the shops and restaurants.

The location! Not much just little stuff!

The bathtub was nice. Breakfast had many options. The room had a big beautiful window, but unfortunately from the third floor it had a view of the blank wall of the building right next to it. We would have had a nice view of the Himeji Castle if only a floor or 2 higher. I was asked to pay extra for my second child, despite the room only having 2 beds made up. We had to ask for an extra pillow and blankets to make up the 3rd mattress we pulled out from under one of the beds. We also had to ask for a third towel.

The location is great! Staff were very welcoming, helpful & friendly. Close to train station, shopping, restaurants & the Castle! Loved my stay here! Room spacious with great bath & shower! Extra basic amenities available in the lobby. Bed was a bit hard, Pillows too soft! They brought me a memory foam pillow immediately upon my request.

Great location and very clean. View of the castle was a nice plus. Very quiet Would have liked the toilet separate from rest of bathroom given that we chose a large corner room.

Love the cozy tub with water that is hot enough. Room was great, beds very comfortable and housekeeping folks warm and friendly. Hotel on the whole was classy with a great price-value ratio. Would definitely come back again.

Great Location, good food nice room except bedding the bed was way TOO hard!!!
