My Anh 120 Central Saigon Hotel Ben Thanh Market

Location Dirty bed sheets. Ants in the room. Opened bottle in the room. 5th floor no elevators. Dirty bathrooms. Very damp smell.

outdated and noisy Air conditioner. No fridge. and lots of small ants that bits.

Good Location not far from the main party road in HCMC. Have an exchange on reception. Room is pretty old. Shower also bad condition. No ac remote in room, AC is still working don’t know how very old. A little smell in the room can hear noises from other rooms and very noisy neighbours in the morning. No elevator so third floor and upper floors will be extra GYM for you.

Nothing I didn't like

Good location The hotel is infested by cockroaches, when we arrived in the room there was a dead cockroach next to the bed and several live cockroach in the bathroom. The room wasn’t clean, we noticed that the sheets hadn’t been cleaned (they smelt dirty, had stains and hair in the them). Our room didn’t even have a window. Overall the room is dirty, damaged and infested by cockroaches. On top of that the staff is an absolute joke. When we arrived to check in, the receptionist continued playing his game on his phone will ignoring us. When we mentioned that the sheets were dirty, they said that they would change them for the second night, but in fact all they did was just re do the bed. Avoid this hotel at all costs !!!!

Would not call it a hotel it was absolutely filthy the guy was sleep when we got there was angry when woke up never seen nothing like it only stayed few hours also it was out the way got pic to show the filth very disappointed after coming from a beautiful hotel going to put pics up on review to be were of the filthy hotel Nothing

Hotel location is very good , near the park, near Bụi Viên walking street , market.... But my room is super quiet. It's so clean, cozy , they cleaned my room every day. Staffs are so nice , helped me everything. Thank you so much. Nope .

Location was great close to everything and very quite, my room was clean tidy and plenty big enough. Nothing!

Only balcony view and kingsize bed Photos are different shown in the display No value for money ....No facilities ...All additional facilities are over charged extra. Even the rooms was not serviced a single day during my stay of 4 nights... No bed sheets changed in 4 nights stay even after requesting several times .....Booking.com is a fraud site which says bathtub shower and facilities ...None of these are available and during booking asks credit card later doesn't allow cancellations and changes ....

Great location in a quiet alley, but 5 mins to the HCM night life and Bui Vien street, Ben Than market and other city attractions. Great wifi connection. Not so clean. We had ants in our room and in the middle of the night we could hear that something (like a small animal) is running on the ceiling over and over again. We were on the ground floor so it was not the birds.

I wanted to post about this hotel because when I arrived, there were two people complaining about it being “rundown” … I thought this hotel was fine and anything you would complain about in terms of facilities being rundown (eg shower tiles cracked, etc) were just cosmetic — the discounted hotel price reflects that. Otherwise the hotel room was very clean and had a nice little balcony opening onto lane. Location is excellent for exploring District 1, including some of the busier night streets à short walk from hotel. I had a weird situation in which the night manager entered my room using their key at about 230 am … this woke me confused from sleep but there were people behind him and I assume he was trying to let other guests into obviously the wrong room. He was startled when I yelled what are you doing! and he said “you stay here?” and then left my room, locking the door again. I received a booking message from the hotel the next day to apologize and say the employee was to receive training. Hopefully this was a one-off experience but I feel it’s something worthwhile to pass on.

Staff is very good. He can speak English very well. And he supports us on bus booking with great efforts. Location is great. Easy to go to night walking street. No elevator. Tied to walk many steps to the room. Stairs are narrow. Room is too decent but it's acceptable. Nothing else to complain.

The staff is friendly, and the location is very convenient, just a short walk from Ben Thanh Market. Despite being near the bustling street, it’s surprisingly quiet and peaceful. We had to spend one night in a different room, which was quite run-down—the bathroom had mold, and the door knob broke the next day. The following night, we were moved to the top floor, and I knew there wasn’t an elevator, so it was a bit of a climb several times a day but no biggies.

-Location is very good, close to everything but in a quiet little street -The warm welcome at the check-in A little bit noisy at night due to a concert at the end of the street but it ends quiet early
