super kind staff and comfortable room. i have zero complaints about the room, especially for the price i paid.

They were kind enough to upgrade me to a better room for free! The location of this place is perfect. So lovely to bike around the rice fields. It's away from all the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas but still near good food and only a short walk/bike ride into town

Arrived and was put in different room , not what i reserved . Had to change the next day . The staff was almost never there . Communicate via whatsup . The shower had inconsistent hot water , pressure was on and off . Toilet seat was broken . If you want coffee you need to walk out of the villa , it’s very far from town and the beach about 48 minutes walk to both .

They upgrades the room from dom small beds to queen beds But they did not offer breakfast as package we paid. Day 3: they acceted the booking and payment but no room was reserved by them, they offered a room without air conditioner in crazily hot day at 50% price down; or they compensated by a near by hostel room which was way cheaper than the amount i paid, I asked for refund.

I’m a banana pancake connoisseur, and the pancakes here are the best! The hostel is located in a quiet street about a 10 minute bike ride from the Old Town, so you get the best of both worlds - quiet with access to the sites. The hostel seemed to attract some great (and considerate) Hostel mates who made dorm life good.

The style is cute and family oriented. There is a small pool and free breakfast ? The staff were so lovely too!

Good breakfast. Location good as you can use their push bikes. Very friendly owners. Helped out with organising trips etc We didn’t get our kettle and didn’t get the room we booked. We had no outdoor window.

Clean and so peaceful. The bed was so comfortable - one of the best we have slept on in Vietnam. Shower also very good. Just a great place to stay. We liked the walk to the old city but some people might prefer to stay nearer.

Really nice and chill hostel, the family running it is so lovely! Great breakfast, nice location not too far from the old town but away from the busy streets
-
One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at with a real family feel to it. Would highly recommend!

I loved the room, which was spacious and clean. The bathroom was great. The balcony was lovely, and the whole building was quite quiet. The owners are always happy to help book tours, or help with laundry. They even let me borrow a rain jacket because the weather was bad while I was there. The location is a little out of the way, but that means it's quiet.

Very clean, comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Good breakfast and helpfull and kind staff. It feels more like a very cozy homestay. With the free bicycles you can easily go around, the location is in a quiet street and chill part of the city! Would definitely recommend!! Everything was great, if I had to think of something it would have been nice if there was more common room/beds by the pool. But other than that, it was perfect!

I loved the beds, no bunks! And the room had three windows , was large and had a small balcony. The location had rice fields and coconut groves to relax in. Nothing

The owners were super friendly and help you with everything. The room was lovely and the location is perfect, close to old town and also close to the beach. No complaints really!

The cleanliness, the friendly, helpful owners & the nice vibe of the place. Nothing

We had a fantastic stay here at the Lazy Bear Hostel! Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious and the hostel is really sweet. The banana pancakes for breakfast were so delicious (we miss them already!). Such a friendly and kind family, they gave us great tips on where to go. Highly recommend staying here for your time in Hoi An!

This is by far my favorite hostel I have stayed at in my travels so far. The family who runs it is so friendly and sweet. They truly make it feel like a home. My room was so comfortable and really clean. The banana pancakes were the perfect start to every morning. And the fact you could use their bicycles made exploring Hoi An memorable and fun. I can't wait to come back and stay with them again. The hostel isn't located near the old town, but honestly, that was more of a plus for me as it was a nice and quiet area as opposed to the busy and loud old town. Just thought I should mention it, though, so people know.
