The Tulyp is a fantastic location that is a little dark and dated. I anticipate that the current construction and renovation will bring more lightness and visual appeal. The staff are friendly and helpful. In particular, the cook who made us breakfast both mornings was skillful and attentive. Great service.

It would have been nice to know what this location was under construction. Also the ATM was broke, in the afternoon evening gentleman was not very helpful and didn't seem willing to even get out of his chair to answer my questions.

There's construction going on so the parking lot is a little torn up and you can get some noise during the week. Our room was 2nd floor facing 7h street, and I don't recommend. 7th street is busy and noisy during the week. The gym was a bit of a disappointment with 2 treads (one out of order), a peloton bike (pointless w/o a subscription) and a recumbent bike for cardio...we ended up going to an anytime fitness across town. Check in was ok tho' it seems parking may cost if you're not a honors member? We are so no issue, but the hotels.com reservation states that parking is free so watch out for that.

OVERPRICED FOR THE QUALITY OF THE HOTEL. OUR STAY WAS MID-SUMMER AND UNDERSTANDABLY THERE SEEMS TO BE A LOT OF DEMAND.

The location of the hotel was in a perfect spot. It was right downtown and located close to many main attractions. The hotel was overall clean and the staff were nice. For the price, I expected more. The room had wear and tear from previous use and it wasn't as nice as shown in the listing photos. I was a little disappointed for this being the first time staying here.

It was very clean; breakfast was good value; the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very dark - lighting seemed inadequate for dark decor.
