Dash Living On Hollywood

I had a wonderful stay. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made me feel at home. The location couldn’t be better. Hollywood Road is one of the best streets in Hong Kong, surrounded by amazing cafés, great bars, fantastic restaurants, and so much character. It was the perfect base for exploring the city on foot. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. I’ll definitely be back!

It was very clean, pleasant and helpful front desk staff, the supple of fresh water, and the location being so close to metro and buses and restaurants. Nothing we didn’t like.

The location is pretty central. MOLD! This place is an absolute scam. Our room was filled with black mold and when we informed the front desk, we were offered an air purifier and access to the “lounge”. After going back and forth with booking, we ended up checking out early. We were told we’d be refunded for the last night of our three night reservation, but it’s been a month and we’ve yet to receive anything. As an avid traveler, this was by far the worst Accomodation I have ever rented. Avoid at all costs. Also, the room did not match the photos in the listing at all. It was dark and dank with a pigeon poop covered window. Additionally, when we went to explore the lounge, which we never did find, we discovered an entire floor of the tower covered from carpet to ceiling in mold.

Great location! Plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. Easy access to transportation. Lots of storage in the room. Rooms are really small! Barely fits my big size luggage. Don't provide hand towels or any travel accessories (toothbrushes & etc), just bath towels.

Exceptional

Probably one of the worst places i have stayed. The walls were cardboard thin you could hear everything going on. When someone on the same floor was going to the toilet or going for a shower, you could hear everything. The bed was uncomfortable. The pillows were uncomfortable. The duvet was a winter duvet and so it was boiling and they had no alternative. The shower didn't drain properly, because the pipes were clogged up so the whole room would flood. Absolutely appalling accommodation! I asked for late check-out and all they could do was add 30 minutes, and still asked for an appalling amount of money for an extra 30 minutes. Do not stay here.

Room was cosy and clean. Towels and rugs were changed daily. No toiletries provided though.

Pleasant

Good location. Plenty of drawer space. Well set up for long stays. I didn’t use this but I saw a good mezzanine floor for storing and cooking your own food. Comfortable seating/dining area plus outside terrace. Washing machines. Very good Thai restaurant opposite. Excellent café “Elephant Grounds” across the street, with very good service and food. The pastries are exceptionally good.

Great location. The room is decently sized has lots of drawers (way more than I needed, but could be useful for a long stay). Ample lighting I usually stay in relatively cheap hotels and have no complaints, but there were many things that were off about this one: -- the bathroom fan didn't work. You can't call a staff member, and instead have to use their online chat. They said they would like into it, but no one ever did during my 4 day stay. (Fortunately the AC in the main room had a humidifier function, so this was not too bad). -- there is no way to crack a window open. This is really annoying; I ate some delicious but smelly food, and there was no way to get rid of the smell. -- For some reason I can't comprehend, the TV would turn on at 3am every morning. I never touched the TV before this started happening (after the second morning I just unplugged it). -- The view is quite nice (I was on 23d floor), but the windows are plated with some material that makes them super reflective, to the point that at night you basically can't see the outside at all -- only yourself. Of course all windows are a bit like this, but the ones at this hotel were way more extreme than anything I've ever seen. -- The only fixture in the lobby is a bitcoin ATM, which should give you a sense of the vibes.

Very good

I like the big window, location and facilities. Your staff especially at night were great. I just hope the exact photo of the whole room was being shown upon booking. The room from the booking was different from what we got like the size of window and position of the bed. I don't know if I should have requested slippers to use inside the room. I would have preferred that it was available in the room.
