214 is what room I was in. But it says we was getting a partial ocean view. lol. Should have listed it as a pool view Outside was loud with people talking. A/C was loud. No Ice in any part of the hotel. Even tho they give a ice bucket water refill station was dirty First time at this hotel

Aside from the hurricane and power outage—which I understand were outside of their control—there were numerous issues that absolutely WERE within management’s control. We paid for a partial ocean view room and had NO ocean view whatsoever. Our room was dirty upon arrival, the sheets were stained, and getting basic necessities like clean towels was incredibly difficult despite contacting guest services and visiting the front desk multiple times. Even worse, two security guards got into a physical altercation in the lobby directly in front of my children. There was also repeatedly no manager available when I tried to address our concerns, including at checkout. We also experienced two fire evacuations, flooding, days without power, and hundreds of dollars of spoiled food. While the hotel couldn't control the weather, the communication and handling of the situation were terrible. Calling this a “Luxury” hotel is extremely misleading. Between the cleanliness, lack of basic service, misleading room description, and poor response from management, I would never stay here again.

Over all it was an average hotel. The plus was the friday night entertainment outside. They were great! But when the storm hit the ilikai never got power back on and so we had to check out and go elsewhere. Most hotels had power but they did not for days. They refunded our nights easily but it was very upsetting. They need a generator system in place. The people were very nice. The rooms were big and it was nice having a kitchen. We were evacuated in the early am hourse in our pj's which was scarey and no directions were given in the lobby but over all id rate this as an average stay. The bonus was the 2 free water bottles a day and free ice cream tickets. Ask for them !

Having lived in Hawaii for many decades. The Ilikai was special in so many ways. Relying on a past of 60 years goes just so far. It is lovely but not luxurious. The glass elevator was a sweltering experience, much better at night.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was spacious, with a beautiful view from the balcony. There are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance, and the beach is just a short walk away. Great location overall! We couldn’t figure out how to connect to the Wi-Fi in the room. It seemed like the router wasn’t working at all, as there were no lights on it. The bathroom door lock didn’t work either, so we had to use a towel to keep the door closed. Also nightstand lamp didn't work. None of these issues were major enough for us to call a technician, but they are a few things that could be improved.

The property was terrible, the staff was really rude except the head of security he was really cool. Hotel is full of entitled residents who dont like people who are not Caucasian. The elevators is a wreck, u will literally wait for 15 to 20 mins to get on a elevators to your room in busy hours which is most of the day and the some roams are under renovation (like mine) so u cant use your balcony. Don't stay here trust me.

Loved the atmosphere, the front desk was helpful, the free Hulu show and hawaiin music. The sunsets were gorgina and the beach was easy to walk to.

The location was right by the lagoon on Waikiki and within walking distance to the Ala Moana Mall. Our room was lovely and spacious on the 25th floor with a great view. The only thing of concern to us was that the tiles around the main pool area were extremely hot which I would consider a safety issue especially for young children. The pool temperature was also quite warm so not particularly refreshing

    Passable

Two bedroom room was not ready at 3pm (check in time). Upon speaking to front desk, they mentioned the room being ready in 15 minutes. An hour later, only after returning to front desk, did they state the room was ready. Lack of readiness & communication.

Thr room was cleaned and stocked with everything i needed for a staycation especially when cooking in the kitchen. I loved that the hotel provided a big bag of ice which came in handy.
