Hyatt Place Houston-Northwest / Cy-Fair

We are out for a late check-in. It was after 11 PM no problems there we got to the room. There was no remote for the TV. We tried to call downstairs to let them know that the telephone was broken so my husband takes the elevator back downstairs and tells them we need a remote. He brings the remote up and that one doesn’t work so they suggested we move across the hall to another room mind you at midnight… the air barely worked in the room. My husband had a meeting that morning in Houston. I woke up to make coffee and the coffee maker was broken when I went to take a shower and grab washcloths and towel towels. The washcloths were brown from stain and then at 3 o’clock in the morning neighbors who checked in were screaming and yelling and partying in the hallway, knocking on the door of our room.. this was not what we expected from a Hyatt Regency. We will never frequent again. Btw when my husband was checking us in they told him what room we were in and one of the other employees said to another that’s good. They haven’t been that many complaints on that room..

The room was clean. For breakfast, I think there should be more options. Fruits should be fresh not frozen.

The room and lobby areas were clean and the staff was amazing! The only reason for a 4 star and not 5 star review was that the property is showing its age and there are simple fixes that could help. One example: in my room the carpet was fraying at the threshold between the entry snd the sleeping area. The wood was showing and the carpet frays were looped, making it a potential tripping hazard, especially catching a heel in the loose carpet. A pair of scissors and a rubber threshold could easily remedy that hazard. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I would definitely stay here again, if the need arose.

First night we didn’t get no sleep. The AC was making a really bad sound the entire night had to get with the front clerk informed her that we did not get any sleep because of this she got us a better room which made it way better but overall, it was an OK experience at this hotel. Not the best cut it down better.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I booked a room with 2 beds. Hotel ran out of rooms and gave me a room with only one bed. I had to sleep on a pullout cott which aggravated my back and spine pain. This experience ruined my vacation trip.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would like to suggest that they make sure the small appliances work properly before the guests arrive. I am one who likes to iron my clothes and had to try three before finding one that worked okay and did not leak water.

The staff at check in were nice. The next day we asked to have a late check out which was nice they allowed us to do that. Just found it strange that the manager went to our room before 1pm and knocked and walked right in at the same time. I was working remote in the room and just found it disrespectful for her to do that. I just got up when I heard the first knock to answer the door and she was already walking in. Not professional for her to do that. I'm guessing she is the manager since she was sitting in the office next to the main entrance. I don't think I would stay there again.

Didn't have many breakfast items. I was pretty disappointed in that but other than that everything was nice

Location. Front desk guy told me their wifi is not working so kindly find another place. I replied that i drove 5 hours and very tired , please find another way. Even i talked to manager she said to find room somewhere else. Then i told him to use my hot spot and connect his laptop so he could check me in . And then i was checked in. I paid cash and now money also debited from my card . It was so disappointing.
