everything was AMAZING

The property was like living in a bit of luxury on a budget. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. When I had any issues they came an fixed them immediately. They have 2 restaurants in walking distance. I experienced The Lazy Dog. I enjoyed my time and would love to come visit again.

Reggie was very welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. We will stay there again when we go back to Houston as long as Reggie is working there.

Breakfast wasn’t all that, can’t connect game devices to tvs, had little ants crawling around, but did get an upgrade to my room

The best stay we have had, the room we got was so clean and the bedrooms inside were also very clean especially the bathrooms. Truly an amazing place, will definitely be going back

The room only gets cleans every 3 days and we didn't get the breakfast because we booked with Expedia

The lobby area was very nice; but there were some annoying things about the property. One, our room had a very distinct smell like old food or bad food. The hallway smelled like weed. The next thing is the coffee. I specifically asked at check-in about coffee and the girl said there was some in the room. However, there was only tea. When I asked for coffee, we only got decaf. She said that was all she had. They also do not serve coffee until 7am with the breakfast that costs $7 - which was fine because of how inexpensive the room was. But not serving coffee until 7am, and no coffee in the room isn't great for those of us who had to be at work at 7:30am. The breakfast was what is served at any hotel that offers free breakfast - no more selection. The bed was comfortable, the room was nice and large. We had a suite with a kitchen, and that was nice.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. It’s has a cool, hip vibe and is very clean! Also found the breakfast in the morning to be a great value.

They won't give you any new clean towels from the front desk unless you bring down your dirty ones and they count your dirty ones.

Very stylish and comfortable hotel. We just stayed for the night but if we are ever in the Houston area again we will definitely stay again and it’s a great place if you are staying for a few days.

I loved our stay! Everything was just as described and pictures were accurate! This is a hidden gem! The only negative thing we encountered was that the hallway near our room smelled strongly of marijuana. This was a guest problem, not a Kompose flaw by any means. I would stay here again and have recommended this place to friends and family.

The beds and pillows are comfortable good sized rooms. My gripe is that I have been over charged for the room. I checked in at 2:36am Sat, Aug 8th. We were out of the room by a few minutes after 11am. I was initially charged for the room using Expedia prices, great. Then there appears a second charge on Sunday for another day stay. This second charge is almost 100% more than the first night (almost double the price of original night). I did not specify two nights, only one night when first checked in, as it shows on my initial email. I am attempting to contact the hotel to remediate this but as of right now they charged me for two nights. I remember there was some issue when first checking in, where the assistant behind the desk had to assist. I believe this was a mistake and hope this gets remediated. Which I will come back to this hotel again in the future.
