MainStay Suites Houston NASA/Clear Lake

Hotel was infested with gnats mice trap and as told is was due to a roach infestation move room and gnats was told I had to pat 100.00 deposit and it was just a hold it’s almost a week still waiting was told this was not a purchase but the money was taken from my account seems like it’s a old hotel pool water was filthy just don’t understand why management will hold your money when the hotel is not maintained properly you take money off people card just in case of incidentals but you can pay for the up keep Dana and Laurel are aware of this issue and still checking people in did see no one doing renovations so it’s unclear why the carpet is stain and the problem with the gnats should not tell people their money will be released right away should disclose when extend you will charge a deposit each time will not stay again

The room was very clean, the staff was very nice. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice and offered GREAT customer service.

One of the front desk people doesn’t speak much English, so we had a really hard time communicating with him. My husband asked two different days for more coffee for the room, and the guy just pointed to the coffee in the lobby and said, “coffee.” The maid service changed our towels daily (even though they were hung & not on the floor), but they didn’t replenish the coffee or make the bed. The elevator smelled awful, so we took the three flights of stairs to the room each time. Overall, it wasn’t a bad place. The price was definitely right!

Clean room, great staff with all the amenities.

It was close to our event. There was a crackhead in the parking lot during our stay that came up to me, the beds and pillows were very uncomfortable, the room smelled so bad. We were charged $87 for towels that we didn’t even use. They claimed we stole them. I don’t think they were in the room to begin with. I never really check because we always bring our own. The manager said the property owner would call me to discuss further after he rejected my request to refund me for their error but he never did.

I had an amazing stay at the Mainstay hotel. It started off by meeting the receptionist by the name of Dana. I would give her a 10 out of 10 rating. She was awesome in helping me feel welcomed. She tended to any information I needed and/or needs. The room was clean and peaceful. However, the mattress hard so it gave me a bit of a struggle to get comfortable. The kitchen was perfect. The showering was great, but the toilet sits very low so if you have bad knees, this could be a struggle. Overall, I did enjoy my peaceful stay at this hotel. I would come back.

Comfortable in a convenient location

Room was clean. Everything worked. Nice area for food. Parking was easy.

Staff was extremely helpful. Room was very spacious. I got the 2 bedroom. There is not a single thing that I did not like. It was Great!

Checking out a pleasant woman, I did not catch her name, was at the desk to take my room keys. Location was great, restaurants & grocery nearby. I was very pleased with my accommodations. Great Job to whomever is running this property.
